Very interesting vision indeed, I think Hermione is starting to get wise to old Dumbledore and it's about time too. *Grins*

I have to go to bed!!! No more chapters until I turn off the computer please because I'm compelled to read them.

Okay, now that was one heck of a vision. Okay, all the teachers are involved? I'm surprised. I guess I saw Dumbledore as more of a prime manipulator who directed everything and everyone around him. Ah, Hermione, I hope your primordial powers are strong because you could be up against even a more powerful force in Albus than you were in Snape. This could get nasty, kiddies.

Carry on Ms Figg. Brilliant as usual.

Ch 15 - scary! No way out in her vision except death? No Severus to help rescue her? I just hope Dumbly doesn't Obliviate her at three-ish; perhaps she should tell Severus so he can be aware of what's happening. More, please!!

Ch 14 - Hmmm, the potion master may need to watch his step with Albus but everyone had better watch their steps with Hermione. Mind you, I think Albus may have his hands full if he calls her to talk with him right now. Oh boy, I don't think she's in the mood to just listen. Geesh, if she knew where to hit the boys with drying up their polish, imagine what she could do to Dumbledore. She's got the power, she's got the power. Oh yeah.

Hey, whatever works for you, Ms Figg. I just felt Snape's dismissal of Hermione was a really effective end to the story because it emphasized his callousness and deep-seated darkness. It was just a powerful ending.

HOWEVER, that being said, you have the ability to develop this story further without losing the strength of your storyline. I know you will stay true to the direction the characters are going. Thank you for your kind words.

Now for this chapter. I was glad to see Hermione begin to look at her situation with more skepticism and dispassion. In this story, I have seen Hermione being manipulated by Snape with her knowledge, naive though it was initially. Then for her to find someone she respected from the light doing the same without her knowledge, would be crushing for her at first. This is perhaps the true loss of innocence.

I'm looking forward tothe next chapter as usual. I can't wait to see where you go with this one. I wonder how strong a pull Harry and Ron will have on her and how Snape will dispel any doubts she may have about his allegiance to the Light. If they are not all very careful, I can see this Hermione going over to the dark. Ah, Ms Figg you give me so many possiblilities to ruminate.

I am so glad you are continueing this story. I really love evil Dumbledore! He is just so bad. Who will figure out Hermione's new gift? How will she react and will she be able to handle the responciblity? Especially now that she has gotten a taste for being a sub! Hope she can find the right things to say to Dumbledore so he will get off her back without discovering her newest rock makeing skill.

Ch 14 - whee!!!! Dumbledore's gonna get it!! Killing and Obliviating at will..... sheesh.... when will Hermione or Severus find out all that Dumbly has done? I just hope she can help Severus not get punished for Dumbly's false info this month - he's had enough torture. And Severus is her only true friend now, for telling her the truth (well, not sure about the "friend" part, but he's the only one who knows the truth and tells it to her). I hope Severus quits with the mind-game stuff - you know, "I can have you expelled" - he should use the opportunity to make a deal with her instead, to both their advantages. Now aren't you glad you're continuing this story, with the nice setup for the Dumbledore segment? Hmm.... "blackest heart" could end up being Dumbledore's heart!

Hmm Dark!Hermione and Dark!Severus wanting autonomy from Dark!Albus and the Dark!Lord? I'd say Hermion's reaction of go ahead and expel me is anattitude I have at work. When one has no fear of repercussions what is the point of take aways when you offer none.

Although I like your writing style (especially in "A Maid in the Devil's Manor"), I'm not too sure about this story. I will still keep reading it because I trust that you will write another excellent story, but it's almost too dark for me. It reminds me of "Conspiracy Theory," but your depiction of Dumbledore might be accurate. Anyway, I have to say you are definitely on your way to another excellent fic. And you have an interesting and attention-grabbing plot. Your characters are very realistic, even if they are too realistic, but they are very promising characters. I look forward to the next installment!

Jackie: I chose Ms_Figg because even though she is a squib, she knows what's going on, is a scrapper & because I will slap the HELL out of somebody wih a bag full of cat food. lol. Ok. I really chose Ms_Figg because it was a name I could use on multiple HP sites as a log in. Seems nobody wanted it. and being as lazy as I am I didn't want to memorize different login names. Yes, it's that simple. ;)
