Reviews for Trading Secrets

This broke my heart. It's so tender and you did such a great job of conveying the heart ache they feel and the corment that they share for the loyalties thye can't betray. Was Draco and Hermione leaving to runaway or were they going back to their sides? we;ll never know. It is so heart breaking that they leave and the hotel guy set them up to get killed. And who was the other voice on the phone, Lucias, Voldemort or Harry? So many unanswered questions at the end help it be more intense. Great Job!!!!

Witchiepooh, I have many things to say to you.

Firstly, I really do apologise for leaving it so long until I read this and reviewed. Now that I'm taking a break from writing, I've been able to indulge myself in H/Dr fiction again, and this was one of my top priorities.

Thank god I got round to it, because that was beautiful. And- gah- your first post on this site? DO IT MORE OFTEN. I'm not kidding, I really loved that. Just- I can't write one-shots to save my life, and then I read things like Trading Secrets and I just think that you make it look so easy, and yet so hard at the same time. Hard because I ached at the end of this- knowing there was nothing more to come.

More about the actual story. The smut was excellent, nothing gave away that this was your first stab at it. All it showed was that you can do it. Very well.

I loved the first part- the way we were introduced to Draco and Hermione through Nick. It reminded me a bit of "Room Serviced" by pir8fancier, although you did something very different with this story. And I liked it.

When Hermione was doing the whole "business" thing with Draco whilst she was, well you know, getting dirty- that was so sad. I mean, it was hot, but sad. The whole story was so god damn poignant. The way she started sobbing- my god- and he asked what was wrong. And then...just- I got so carried away and I really felt for them. What a terrible, terrible existence. And just to meet with each other like that, to escape for those few moments, it really is heartbreaking.

When I read the whole "character death" warning, I thought halfway through- oh no, if they kill themselves I think I'll follow their lead. But thank god it was Ron (and also, obviously, a shame at the same time!!). The way you DID end this was brillirant. The way Draco asked Hermione to ask him to leave it all, leave together. God god god. It reminded me of this book that had me in tears ('Noughts and Crosses' by Malorie Blackman), although I actually thought your story was better written in a way!! My heart really did split for them.

And the ending. With that phonecall? I don't even know what to say. I just- argh. It hurts. It really hurts, and how pathetic is that?!?!

Wow. Well, I'm clearly having quite the emotional day. And this story was brilliant. I'm so glad I've finally read it, and I can't believe I left it this long in the first place. Thank you!

Virgin smirgin~ This was an interesting story. True D/H shippers always believe their love will win out in the end. The angst/smut was nicely balanced. You definitely left it open-ended. Is there more to come down the road? Thanks for writing this nice fic.

i thought it was nicely done. i was especially intrigued by the little twist at the end. though some of their speech during the love making was a bit repetative at least they weren't silent (i hate when the characters don't say a word to each other during the act). i loved the originality of it though. keep it up.
