Wow. Just...wow. Never in a million years I saw that coming, You weren't kidding when you were talking of major plot-twists, were you? *grin* But I love you for it! This was certainly unexpected, and amazing and another dozen wonderful things. It's just a pity there's only one more chapter left. It would have been great to see more of Harry as he makes his way into a brand new world.

And Severus, let's not forget Severus...I'm so anxious to read their first meeting (and with a baby, already!).

    It's official: marry me? ^o^

oh! how sad! i can't believe severus wasn't there for the birth of his child! so, he has is old memories still... does he have new ones from the life without voldemort? and who all knows about who harry really is and what he's done? oh, and how does dumbledore know to begin with?

of course, kudos to harry for finally kicking voldie to hell! and then giving birth right after that. sheesh, what a day!

    eagerly anticipating your next chapter!!

Wow. REALLY didn't see that one coming. I thought the whole voldemort battle was like all in Snapes and Harry's head or something, a way to expeal the dark lord from Severus's body for good. That was quite the interesting twist you threw in. So in that new reality Harry created, no one knew of him until the moment he came back. So Severus only met him when Harry saved him from Voldemort, but he has the memories of the other reality too. lol Kind of confusing, but I think I understand lol Cant wait to read the final chap. Really don't want to see this over though. You're writing just keeps on improving.

I like your twist! If it wasn't a vision, or something like that, then Harry defeated Voldy before Snape became a death eater. But doesn't this also change the future? James and Lily would be alive, (probably) Snape would not have met Albus at the hog's head and become a teacher, Harry wouldn't have followed Snape to the club and become involved (well... there would be a whole history of Harry's life that we don't know about, so you could probably do just about anything you want at this point). I'm really interested to see where you go from here, and especially what you plan to do with Harry's baby that he is probably losing. (and believe me when I say I don't often tolerate mpreg, but points to you for making me care a bit) ;D You make an interesting story. I will be checking back to see more!

Well, I never saw that coming! That was quite the twist. I still don't understand it all, but I'm sure the last two chapters will help me figure it out! I can't wait to read some more stories on your LJ, and to read the end of this one as well! Thanks so much for updating!!! I hope you post the last two chapters soon!!

Did not see that one coming. Was he really in the past? Or was it just a way for Harry to help kill off the dark mark for Snape, like his subconcious or something? What ever happened though, it obviously didn't agree with Harry's pregnancy. Cant wait for the next update. Don't want to see it end, but I'm dying to know what else happens. Hope the next update will be soon.

    Riffraaaaaaaff!!

    *tackle* *glomp* *smooch, smooch smooch*

    You're back! I can't believe it! You're back! *wails into a snoot-covered handkerchief* I'm so happy!

And...err, well, now that's out of the way (you're baaaack!) ...As I was saying, now that's out of the (you're baa--)... Out of the way *glaring threateningly at emotional, fangirlish subconscious)... Review time!

Ehem, so, where to begin? ...Yes, I've a confession to make. As soon as word came out through the virtual grapevine (aka livejournal communities) that you were (baaaa---Stop it right there!) back, ehem, I metaphorically run over at your palce (aka this webpage), printed all 50 chapters of TFB, and spend a lovely day reading it from start to finish (can we say "obsessed" together?). But, in my defense, I have to say it was a Riffraff TM story! 100% guaranteed angst, emotional turmoil, dizzying plot twists and hot s-e-x! How can a girl resist?

So, after spending an entire day cheering on Harry and Snape, grumbling at interfering, pseudo-well-intentioned Order members and headmasters, and snarling at tramps like Draco and Bill we-can't-take-a-no-for-answer.... I have to ask: where's the rest!?LOL

No, seriously speaking, you, my friend, are like good wines, you only get better with time! Really, I've been reading you way since before your inner snarry came to the fore, and I honestly believe you have grown into your art. Your very first snarries well interesting and well-developed, but I think it was only until "Guilty as Sin" (which never fails to enthrall me), and to some extent "Where Others Fear to Thread", that you found your (snarry) 'voice', so to speak. And this is very obvious in TFB, which, I think, is a very mature piece of work. For starters, Harry comes across as young and emotional, but with a level of emotional strength, bitter wisdom, and insight that he lacked on your previous stories. I find him, despite all his faults as a teenager, more an equal partner to Snape than ever before. As for Snape, he's superb as a dark man, but even better as a lover. I saw hints of both sides of his personality in your previous stories, but this is the first where I see both aspects of him meshed so flawlessly (the whole scene at Lucius party where he asks Harry to turn around as he torutres Draco is a thing of beauty, simply for the way you mix all three things: Draco's sick pleasure, Snape's horror at his own violence, and Harry's pain in such an elegant yet powerful rendering of the facts).

My favourite scene, though, has to be the whole Harry baking gingerbread men and Snape conforting him scene. *shrug* Don't know why.

*sigh* There are lot's of things I want to point out, comment on, but I'm afraid I won't have enough space in this box review, so... is it all right if I just skip to the questions? *impish grin*

    1. I'm getting mixed signals. What's going on with Dumbledore? He hates Snape, comforts Snape, uses Harry, loves Harry, tries to separate them, "go home, kids"...I give up.

    2. Am I right to assume, due to recent developments, that Remus has always support Harry and Snape as a couple?

    3. Is the whole Order (Weasleys and Hermione included), so rutheless? Do they truly only see Harry and Severus as instruments? Do they really toy with them so much and care so little?

    4. Is it normal that Harry's experiencing so much pain during his pregnancy? Or does it have something to do with being apart from his baby's other father?

    5. What's going on with the shared dreams? I know it's explained as an effect of Harry and Snape establishing a bond, and Harry's foray into Sanpe's pensieve, but... why do I get the feeling there's more going on? (Or is that just wishful thinking from my part?)

    6. What's Snape favourite brand of whiskey? What's Harry's yuckiest craving? Does Harry have a subscription to "Cosmopolitan Witch"? Does Snape go to Flint Sr. for his club gear? What are his measures? Harry's? Why is the sky blue? How many bubbles are inside a bottle of Coke? Why is the Wolrd Cup a cup?

Very, very glad to have you back,
T-chan (who wishes to add you to her friend list at Livejournal, yes?)

Yay, just got back from vacation and found 2 lovely chapters waiting for me! However, to leave us with a cliffie so potentially tragic is just cruel and heartless (and boy, don't I love cruel and heartless)

Please please please update soon!!!! I just have to know what was in the potion that Severus drank!

(PS - thanks for the shoutout! It was a pleasure helping you)

You know, I have a strict rule about reading WIPs because I have no patience. I knew better than to read the first chapter of this and I did it anyway. 50 chapters later and now I'm tapping my foot waiting for the end.

This is brilliant, hon. I love the snark, angst, jealousy, and just all of it. Please update soon. I really have no patience. :)
