What can i say kid? It been a long coming but its been worth the wait. Its extremely easy to read and kept me on the edge of my seat, as so to say, because i was thinking "Whats next?" "How is he going to react?" "Is she even going to tell him?" Now inlight of recent infomation from you, and re-reading the last couple of chapters, i have to say, i think you have set yourself up for the next chapter brilliantly, although there was a few mistakes here and there with the wording. Which ofcourse i only noticed when i was going back and checking for such mistakes, so they arent really a problem.

Going back to what i was saying about setting yourself up for the next chapter is that, you finished with Ron kissing her, although shes going to tell him, so its abit of a cliff hanger and keeps the read craving, for the use of a better word, the next chapter, to finally see his reactions.

So all i can say, is well done, rather well writen, easy to read and extremely creative! Your best (I personally think) novel so far... And it is becoming abit of a novel :P

    Darque,

I understand your concern. And yes, they are being EXTREMELY OOC. I will give you that. But you have to remember something. They are human. Hermione is seventeen and she is pregnant. I don't know what it is like to be seventeen and pregnant, but before I wrote this, I talked to someone who does. Hermione is torn. Yes, she loves Severus, but she also loves Ron, just in a different way. Ron is one of her best friends, and she knows she is going to hurt him with what she has to tell him. I think even you would have to agree that it's possible she would chicken out, seeing him so happy, and knowing that what she needs to tell him is going to take that away from him. It WAS a mistake, and I PROMISE you it fits into the story, and the next chapter, which is underway will show you why. Also, don't forget, and if you have ever been pregnant (which I actually have) you will remember what sort of toll it takes not only on your body, but on your emotions, and especially during those first months, where she is. She is not necessarily going to be that "strong, aggressive, know-it-all Gryffindor" in extreme circumstances. And do not forget her worry about Severus as well. He is in so much danger, that is wearing on her as well. Not to mention the danger she, Ron and Harry are about to put themselves into. Her head is a complete mess right now.

As for Severus. This story is HBP compatible. Dumbledore was the only person to have any faith in Severus. Severus was put between a rock and a hard place when Bellatrix and Narcissa came to his door that day. The choice was to blow his cover or put his best, no, ONLY friend's life in jeopardy. Then, not only did he have to KILL his best friend, but he had to pretend he ENJOYED it. No, maybe the people in the order could not be considered his friends, but they were the only people he had away from the Death Eaters, which, let's face it, are about a hundred steps farther away from friends than the Order. They all believe he is a cold hearted murderer, they don't know the truth. So, for Snape, he felt he had NO ONE. Not one living soul that was on his side truly. He fell in love with Hermione her sixth year. She was the only person he was open with besides Dumbledore, and he thought he had lost her too, even after he explained himself to her. When she responded to his letter, she became the only person in the world Severus felt he could trust, felt cared at all about him. Can you see his position at all? The war has escalated to a point that could drive anyone to the brink of madness, and he is caught square in the middle of that. I know he is snape, and we love him as the bad boy, and believe me, when it comes to EVERYONE else, he is, and you will see that in the coming chapters. But Hermione is his ray of hope so to speak. She is all he has in the world, and he would do nothing to make her turn from him. He knows that pushing her limits right now could scare her, possibly drive her away. I am sorry I did not put that part out there better, but I will tell you now, his motives when he said that were completely self serving, and one hundred percent Slytherin. He is telling her exactly what she wants to hear because he does not want her to turn on him as well. He does love her, and the idea of her going home to Ron tears him apart, but if he comes off as harsh and demeaning right now, she might cave and take the easy way out, trying to convince Ron the baby is his (he wouldn't question it, I don't think anyway.)

I hope that may have cleared some things up for you, and perhaps others as well who thought Severus was just a ball of fluff in this one. Hope you enjoy what is to come,

"Hermione was lost for words as he took her, not really knowing what to do or say, or even think." ooooooo I know! She could STOP him, say that she had something important to say, that couldn't wait, and then she should think of a way to let him know she's with Snape and Snape Jr is on the way. LOL I'm so glad you are back! I've been checking this story every day for updates. Today was my lucky day. I love this fic and I can't wait to see where it goes.

ch13: that's where we can see how weak and immature Hermione is. The more she remains quiet, the more people will be hurt. And will Ron notice something with her belly?
