Whew, what a ride at the end there. I think I have said this before, but, I just love how you are in Snape's head with all of his feelings. With the revelation that Madam Collin's was using Davinda all along, to weaken Snape, and probably throw Davinda's life away, just makes me even despise her more. Well, I guess I suspected she was using Davinda against Snape all along, but didn't guess it was to that end. I'm sure Davinda is totally crushed, but at least Snape put on a good show in front of the other death eaters, so maybe they will be able to report that to the dark lord, and he won't consider her important enough to use against Snape. I am wondering if the portrait that Dumbledore chose to use will be willing to cooperate, since he seemed to show a marked dislike to Snape. I really can't wait till your next chapter. Please write it quick!

PS: Not too long to book 7. I am going to be so dissapointed if Snape's part isn't something like you have made it to be!

Wow, that was a good chapter. The part at the beginning with Snape and Dumbledore really moved me and brought tears to my eyes. I like how you are explaining how snape feels about what he will have to do to Dumbledore. Things are certainly pointing to Davinda's grandmother being involved with the dark lord. Just wondering if she is planning to involve Davinda into that dark world somehow. Snape seems to finally admitting to himself, even though he cannot articulate it that has feelings for Davinda. Looks as though old Snape may have a good Christmas. I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take the story after the end of this year after the deed is done.

No, no, no, you can't just stop it there....That's just plain cruel and unusual punishment....oh, but really this is just another great installment of a brilliant story...Snapekat, you take my breath away...I find myself stopping while I read to get a mental picture of whats going on...Kind of like my own little private, or should I say "dirty" movie...At any rate, this is just magical and I can't wait to read more....

Still, whose side is Madam Collin's on? It certainly seems not the good one. Just who did Snape cross when he crossed her? Who were the people in the black capes and masks? Death eaters? So intriging. Love this story. Can't wait to read more.

Sorta kinda caught. Will they tell? Would anyone beleive them if they did? Maybe they won't tell, because they think he is more relaxed (getting some), maybe they think he will be slightly less nasty. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Well, Davinda finally got what she wanted, and I would say Snape did too. Maybe they needs to work on some more discression before they get caught. I know Sirius loves Harry, but he needs knocked down a peg or two. Needs an attitude adjustment. So, is Madame Collins a death eater? I have never liked her and wondered where her loyalties lie. It really makes you wonder when even even her own Grandaughter suspects her. If she is working for the dark, maybe the book was a plant. They could see if Snape gave the book to Dumbledore, and put what ever they wanted in the book. Or not, and it could really give them some good insights into the horcruxes. Poor Davinda, to have to spend most of the summer with the old witch. Update soon!

Thanks for the note, makes me know all of my rambling rabble is worth it!

That was quite a chapter. I loved some of your words you used to describe Umbridge. Some spots were very humerous. The 5 minute touch scene was very moving. I had to fan myself. I think Davinda has Snape's number. She know's exactly what he is thinking, except why he is protecting her. Ithink she knows she can break through his defences eventually. She is probably hoping for some other event to make a deal for her silence again. Can't wait for another instalment.

Oh how do I love thee???? Let me count the ways....The wait was so worth it...You have done it again Snapekat...Given us the true and realistic side of Severus Snape which makes the story even more remarkable...Once in awhile you find a story thats worth reading however the characters are so out of "character" that the story seems written for any number of people and some of them just happen to have names that we all recognize...I appreciated the email to let me know this work had been updated and you can count on my continued support of your efforts...This story is solid and can't wait to read more of it....

I just love how you get into Snape's head in this story. Loved all the interaction with the dark lord. Liked the howler. I think Madame Collin's suspects something is going on, but am I wrong in not thinking she would mind if she knew something was. Still can't quite figure out which side she is on, and what her agenda really is. Looking forward to finding all the answers.
