Whew! I had a lot of catching up to do, didn't I?

I have to tell you, the scenes involving Harry and Draco at Hogwarts had me in tears. I'm not sure why exactly. It may have had something to do with knowing and understanding homesickness on a very personal level or the "People die so life is important" thing or simply how beautiful and touching it is to really get that home is where the heart is. And home for Harry has always been Hogwarts.

I also love that Harry and Draco falling in love isn't based on sex, 'needing' one one another, or Harry's need for a shoulder to cry on. It was something that grew from discovering eachother, understaing what makes the other happy, and most importantly, time. An evolved, delicate thing that really takes the time to explore human emotion and the soul's ability to grieve and heal.

The dinner party was nice touch. I love the grown up Dean. This line made me laugh aloud: //

Yay 49! It was nice to see a dinner party for them come off semi-well...at least for this chapter anyhow. xD

Harry is really set up for a huge fall with Draco. It breaks my heart especially since he's doing so much better emotionally. I suppose that you never know how far you've come until you're tested. Awkward dinner party but a different mix of people and what happened to Seamus?

"then they both smiled, and for a moment Harry felt as if he stood in sunlight."
    I love your writing.
The falling in love realizations were both wonderful, by the way.

    This took me by surprise.
From Hogwarts to a dinner party...I had to adjust a bit.
Okay, now there are possible friends, maybe nasty tricks (Gloria and Narcissa),
open hostility (Snape) and a revelation.
I am on the edge of my seat....

"Yes, the memories were thick, but they were memories. He had to remember that."

Thanks for that. I'm going through sommat right now, and I need to remember that, too.

That was absolutely beautiful. A great way to handle Harry seeing his old home.

Speaking from experience, you nailed the emotions head on. I'd lost a family member a year ago and I thought going back would hurt, and it did a bit, but it also felt good to see that things didn't stop. Bravo.

I doubt Narcissa has given up on splitting up Harry and Draco. And it was nice to see Hogwarts and Harry seemed so happy to be back there. Maybe ha should start teaching there, if he could learn others to do a patronus at age fifteeen why not now? Love this story :)

Finally...I made up to chapter 30, only 17 more to go...though I am not reviewing for the latest chapters, but still I would like to give you my compliment.

I must admit that the unknow spell that Draco used in chapter 29, showing his own feelings and emotions to Harry was indeed a brilliant act - given Harry loneliness and ingrained belief of not being good at anything - that would be a strong spell to hold him! Well, I don't know whether I am correct or not, but Harry has portraited himself as helper, so with Draco's intense fondness towards him, I am sure Harry would try not to break Draco's heart for longing for celibate (???).

I agree that guilt has one point, but in my belief, feelings and emotions often have more power to drive one forward!

Would definitely like to catch up sooner, if work allows me...please keep on.

I just read chapters 1-44 on FFN.net and had to sign onto AFF.net to see if you had more posted here. Your story is amazing. I love how human you have made Harry and how spontaneous yet serious Draco seems. I'm still tickled by how well Draco justifies stalking and spying on Harry for 2 years. The last line of the first chapter is what hooked me though- where Harry's , who's been stupefied, only concern is whether or not he'll make it to work the next day on time. I can't wait to read the next chapter! I really hope Harry pursues quidditch, if only to read you write more intense and heroic flight scenes. Thanks for taking the time to write down this amazing story!
