SiriuslyInLuv71: Or should I say "sister, my sister?" I'm a NEWYORKER too. Have no probs slinging the stereotypes. lol. BUT, although I do agree with your summation of James' role in the Marauders, you have to realize I am writing with Snape in mind, and Snape has always focused on James for a number of reasons, although in this story he wants to see Sirius dead as well. So, that's why I write him as being the foremost hated Marauder. I think Sirius was far more hateful toward Snape, since he did try to get him killed after all, but Snape hated James so much, he didn't even appreciate him saving him. And James was the one who publicly used Snape's own spell against him. So yeah, they might have been a team, but Severus saw James as someone who was a true thorn in his arse, followed closely by Sirius. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments, and your support. I'm glad you enjoy the fanfics. ***

I admit, I do love your stories. And probably have read most of them, even though I am not a Snape/Hermione shipper (not at all actually), but your stories make them flow together so passionately. It's hard not to enjoy reading your stories. There was only one slight problem that I had. And I cannot stress how much it bothers me when I read this, "James Potter and his cronies". In most of your stories you are making James Potter, the leader of the Marauders, which I highly disagree with, and canon wise that statement is completely wrong. The Marauders were actually a team (if you will), of troublemakers who cause chaos and havoc around the school, or you can use the simple word and call them bullies. But they were a team. It wasn't James Potter and the Marauders. It had always been the Marauders.

And if you did notice. Every reference J.K. Rowling made to the Marauders, she always included Sirius Black as an individual, as she did with James Potter. She always referred to Remus and Peter as more of followers. She also revealed in PoA that "Black and Potter were ring leaders of their gang," (A quote by McGonagall, notice that she said Black first).

Also in an interview after OotP was released, she also made stated that Sirius Black was the most "handsome", "reckless", and "dangerous" of the Marauders.

So in all technicality. Sirius Black and James Potter were leaders of the Marauders, it wasn't just James Potter alone, and a lot of authors make the same mistake over and over again, no matter how much Jo Rowling puts out there.

To me, I think it's a matter of how you read the books. In the books Harry is portrayed as the leader of the trio (which is true), so the basic thought to anyone must mean that James Potter, being Harry's father, was naturally the leader of 'his' gang.

But other than that huge rant about the leading of the Marauders, I just want to tell you that your story is awesome, the only reason I didn't know you were writing this was because, I thought you stopped writing.

And I also am amazed that you are a Black female, and trust me when I say this, there are not too many of us writing fanfiction. (Such a stereotypical comment, but what do you expect? I am a NEWYORKER!)

    Excellent job with the fics.

Ginny and Harry usually makes me gag. I'll never be a convert but well done Miss Figg, in your universe it makes lovely sense. Ron...the prat. *snort* No sainthood for Lily and James...it works. Thanks for the update!

All I have to say is OUTSTANDING. I find it rather interesting that regardless of whether his parents lived or not, Harry's life still isn't all sunshine and roses. Couple that with the fact that Ron is a bigger two-faced weasel now than in the previous timeline (which is EXTREMELY hilarious in and of itself) and I'm unable to stop reading your story over and over again. It's also very refreshing to see that Snape isn't always the bastard everyone makes him out to be. I can't wait to see exactly how Severus will finally get his witch!

Actually, though I hate to say it, Harry was right just then. Though his life as an orphan was much more difficult and he faced many challenges, I think he turned out better for it. His parents indulgence did nothing for his character. But that's just one opinion.

I've read a lot of your stories, but honestly, this is my favorite. I love the dynamics and the plot is very original.

"...he wasn't going to throw confetti." As the mother of an albeit very young daughter, I had to laugh at your description.

This is terrific. The first time-travel fic that I haven't abandoned in disgust - because usually, frankly, they're dreadful. Thank you!

    Cheers
