Reviews for The Wedding - COMPLETE

Damn you're speedy! That's wonderful! I just love seeing a new chapter every few days. I find it amusing that Hermione is slowly infiltrating Lucius' home with muggle objects. I certainly hope though that she doesn't bring a television into their happy abode. I feel that after watching a couple of episodes of "Gilligans Island" and the "Brady Bunch," I think he'd probably dislike muggles even more than he already does and be compelled to spank her -- hard! hahaha

But anyway, great chapter! Please update soon and judging by the way you write, it probably will be very soon. Thank you!

Yes, the poor thing is in emotional quicksand called Hermione. I think by the end of this story, she will succeed in her task of loving her husband and having him accept her love in return. I love how he reacts to her action and the fact that she gives him what he needs, even when he does not know that he needs it. I also love how she is getting information about Lucius via Snape through Ginny. That is a very ingenious transmission of information. Again, great new chapter -- I cannot wait to read more about their slow (and realistic) marriage and eventual happiness within their forced relationship.

At first I was a little leery of Hermione having an iPod, but she does strike me as the type to listen to oldies. Heh, she must have it really bad to be doodling his name; I haven't done that since I fell in like with a kid in my karate class in 4th grade.

I dunno if I've said this before, but I really like the way you show Lucius's internal struggle in gradually accepting Hermione for all she is, rather than having him make an instant transformation from dark and brooding to lovey-dovey. Also, your regular updates help.

You know, that's a really good review recipe. I'm slightly confused about the headphones, though. Does she have the kind that completely covers your ears (which is what it sounds like) or does she have the kind that sticks in your ears because those seem to be much more popular nowadays. That is very kind of Severus to feed her such information, and in such a manner that Ginny doesn't realize anything off. You know, I'm looking forward to the day when Lucius isn't on his probation or whatever anymore and the year is up and they can go out together and they'll be all married for love the way that everyone thiks they were to begin with.

I love this story. Something about Hermione and grown up Slytherins almost always puts me in a happy place. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Hm, did the meat go bad in the kitchen, while awaiting to be put on ice. Maybe Lucius with use of ipod and burgers will melt a little. I wonder if Hermione has a little plan in the works for more sex? Greatly enjoying the story.

    Hey!
Today I read your FF in one and I have to say: Wow. It's great!
I love it how you show Lucius' and Hermines feelings and how their "forced" marriage turn to love.
    And the lemons...hot

Lucius' arse is grass; he stands no chance. Poor bunny. I loved them rowing over the iPod - how reminiscent of my own home life, lol. And Hermione doodling his name on the carrier bags...oops, who hasn't been guilty of that? Very funny, sweet and realistic. (Although we say ketchup on this side of the pond, not catsup - sorry to be pedantic. But I am.)

I just realized, burgers aren't particularly British, are they? But then you couldn't make barbecue jokes. Do Brits BBQ en masse, and if so, what do they grill?

Poor Lucius. Maybe Hermione can make it up to him by putting some nice classical on her iPod for him.

I am glad that not every chapter is full of kinky sex, though i do enjoy those chapters as well. Though it is good to read they have a life outwith the bedchamber and they are beginning to get to know each other more and mixing in other company. Love your story keep up the good work looking forward to the next update.

Why don't you have Harry threaten to break the marriage? Lucius isn't going to be a threat anymore (or so Harry's decided) and he needs Hermione single for some other important alliance? I know it's DREADFULLY old fashioned using marriage to bind allies, but the magical world strikes me as being a bit old fashioned. Then both Lucius and Hermione have to fight to save themselves, and reveal themselves to each other.
BTW i think this story rocks! It's funny and very enjoyable. Well done. :)

This is a really Yummy piece of Lucius goodness. I'm not usually a HG/LM shipper (I'm more or the SS/HG persuasion) but this is BRILLIANT! I can just imagine the Lusious Lucius standing on the patio with a 'Never trust a Skinny Cook' apron on, Hair in a ponytail and the grill all fired up ready for the 'Berkers', an absolutely marvellous mental image!
By the way...You asked what cockles were. If you mean literally, they are a small mollusc, boiled and eaten with vinegar (in the North of England anyway. They are found in abundance on Morecambe beach!) If you mean the 'heart' analogy, it means the deep recesses where the secret loves are kept!
Blessings and I offer chocolate cookies for the muse!

I think that I've been remiss of late in my reviewing -- I'm fairly certain that I reviewed A New Order of Wizards, but have fallen off with The Wedding. Which I love. How can anyone NOT love a difficult-yet-lovely Lucius? (I am a bit squicked about Severus and Ginny, but I do concede that Hermione can't have EVERYONE.) Since, if I delineated everything that I like, it would take oodles of paragraphs, I'll stick to what I would like to see. Poor Hermione needs to have someone (other than Crookshanks) think of her first, I think. She gives and gives, and rarely gets a kindness. Maybe Lucius needs to see that other wizards WOULD appreciate her? I do like me a jealous and possessive Lucius. Of course, I pretty much like all possible different kinds of Lucius, so I'm easy. *smirk* I check every day -- several times -- for updates. And always get a smile when I find one. You rock, chickadee. I do hope you have smoldering plans for another Lucius/Hermione tale after this one is completed.
