you asked about the reference to the name of the house a few chapters back... the only thing I can think of that the Snidget as a bird that's the original Snitch (replaced by the metal Snitch)... reference to a Quidditch or birdmad family? or am I barking up the wrong tree (that expression always reminds me of Sirius :-P)
why did the fire not drive of the Inferi if they're scared of it? even if it wasn't the destroying spell it still should have driven them away right?
Harry is so going to get it... Draco is not happy! cheerful conversation that will be...
can't wait for Remus to return to the story!!! then we'll see his reaction to the Inferi-story and Tonks and Kingsley's reaction to the horcruxes... yes, I love him too. I always love seeing resemblance between Harry and Remus in the way they act too *beams*
I really do think Snape is evil in this one... oh well, otherwise he's just a very good spy.
ring, diary, locket, shield, snake, cup (location unknown)... those were all of them right? (I'm always confused on whether Voldemort (the current one) now came from a horcrux or if it's still the original him... or did he just count himself as soulpiece 7?)
so all they need to do is find the cup (sounds so easy doesn't it? just like only having to kill Voldemort afterwards...).
how did you make your life harder with the last chapter? not sure how to continue with it? becoming to complicated?

on bad days I talk to my mom or best friend about what's wrong (or rather rant) unless it's something really bad (like almost not having passing grades) and then I do the unhealthy avoidance thing and completely ignore it and lose myself in fanfiction... it's a lifesaver! not a handy thing to do most of the time but there are worse things I could do *shrugs* any particular reason you want to know (like looking for better avoidance techniques :-P) or just curious what other people do?

    hope for more soon!

    And the plot thickens...

I must admit, I was really amazed with this chapter. How do you even come up with the plot? Wow...your brain must have exploded a few times just thinking about the conflict you want to add.

About my notion of Snape being a "good nut" or a "bad nut", I have to say...I'm utterly confused. Well, I have two hunches anyway:

Hypothesis A: Snape is a "good nut."
I think Snape may just have set all that up so Harry can destroy the Horcrux. Why? Let me enumerate:

    1. Dumbledore told him that he and Harry were destroying the Horcruxes. Since Dumbledore is dead, he knew that Harry will take up the task of destroying the rest, being the very Gryffindor that he is. Snape is just helping Harry do his task.

    2. He was sure that Harry is more than capable of destroying the other Horcruxes. If I'm not mistaken, he taught Harry Occlumency and Legilimens, not mentioning Potions, so I think with all that teacher-student contact, he might have calculated, more or less, Harry's magical abilities.

    3. Snape was in the Order of the Phoenix, remember? Maybe he and Dumbledore had devised a plan to destroy Voldemort...maybe Dumbledore knew that only Harry can carry out this task so he sacrificed his life for Harry to fulfill it(Remember Book 6, when Snape was about to kill Dumbledore? We don't really know what Dumbledore meant by "Please"...It might mean "Please kill me because this is the only way that we can help Harry destroy the Horcrux"...or something like that) Making it easy for Harry and the rest of the gang to get Pettigrew was just part 1 of their plan.

I still don't know about the Inferi, but as I said in #2 (Snape knew Harry's magical abilities), he might have some faith in Harry that he will be able to make it through. Besides, I think he knew his godson, Draco, went to Harry and was somehow helping the Order with the task.

Hypothesis B: Snape is a "bad nut."
I think Snape made it easy for Harry to get Pettigrew to lure them in the trap in Godric's Hollow. Why? Let me enumerate:

    1. He knew of Harry's very Gryffindor attitude (going to action right there and then). He devised that easy Pettigrew kidnap so he can lure Harry in Godric's Hollow. Of course, they put the Inferi to do the rest of the dirty work.

    2. He was sure that Harry is NOT capable of succeeding in getting the Horcrux in Godric's Hollow. Since he and Harry had much teacher-student contact, he might have, more or less, calculated Harry's magical abilities.

    3. Snape was in the Order of the Phoenix, remember? Maybe he was a spy for the Death Eaters after all and after killing Dumbledore, he told Voldemort all the Order's plans of destroying the Horcruxes. He guessed that Harry would take the burden in his own shoulders after Dumbledore was killed, so all he and Voldemort have to do was devise a plan to finally destroy The-Boy-Who-Lived.

...Phew! Those were a lot of explanations!

Despite all these, I still don't know what idea is swimming in that head of yours. I can only guess this much.

About your question regarding distractions, I do one or all of these things to get my head cleared up:
    a) jog around the park (although I don't do that anymore since it's so hot here you can get a heat stroke just by sitting under the sun)
    b) draw anything that I fancy (anim

Well...such a brilliant plan, and good use of wormtail - never been that GOOD...and hopefully with such a suspicious Voldermort, who was always sure of himself and his plan and power...he would fall into the trap and question the traitor!

Well...definintely now more and more are involved with the horcrux chase, though this might expose the secret and endanger more people - on the other hand, more help would be available - hope this can be the good side of involving Tonks and Shaklbort (?)

Lastly, please, Draco please - talk some senses into Harry - make him understand that he indeed is loved and dear to SOMEONE - and he might claim something to settle his fear!

Great chapter. Can't wait for the next, can't wait for more Harry/Draco action. I hope their relationship doesn't turn out to be bad cause of their past.

I'm going to make enough money so then I could goto London, I really want to, it's one of my goal's, I want to travel there, check out everything there. And hopefully meet the famous Daniel Radcliffe, but that may not happen. I also want to move there even though I am from Canada. I hope. Anyways, great story again.

Wow, that was an incredible chapter! :) I love how you did that, not only the life-debt but having Draco feeling so crushed by Harry's willingness to fade into nothing without a thought. I can see why he's so hurt and god I hate to keep going for fear that their new relationship will end poorly, even if for the greater good! I don't want that! LOL

Reminds me of "Hot Fuzz" everything is done for the "Greater Good"

Argh!!! I am tearing my hair out, I just want them to live and be happy!

Oooo, very interesting, I like Draco's reaction to the Parseltongue language. I quite agree, it's nice to listen to. I doubt Draco realizes that he likes it cuz it's SEXY but I believe that to be the truth :D

    I heart this story ^_^

I agree! I think Harry is descended from Godric and the part about the house. And Godric Hollow is perfect for a horcrux. I sooo need chapter 49!

    OMG O_O

What do Ron and Hermione think about Harry only reacting to Draco's calls? Did they even notice? Have they noticed really that Harry really wants Draco around? Will they say anything about Draco being the one who caught Harry? What about the fact that Draco was the only one who knew what to do?

Draco has been full of surprises recently, hasn't he? Leading the way to the Pettigrew, knowing Inferi, getting along with Ron and Hermione, looking up to Remus.

Anyway, I love this story. Keep up the good work, I look foreward to more installments ^_^
