Chapter 1: Draco's inner mental agony was so very well written, I was shuddering right along with him. Was he perhaps given over to the Dark Lord by Snape(?) for torture or not? We don't know. Snape may not be guilty of delivering Draco to Voldie - would that have transgressed Snape's promise to Narcissa? Snape may be hanging up right beside Draco.
This was extremely evocative as a one-shot, but it feels like it could go on into more chapters. The problem with that is then you might have to introduce a hero/heroine second character to pair Draco with unless the whole storyline revolves around some sort of quest/goal or other idea.
I really enjoyed this piece just as it was. (Except for Lucius being in Azkaban, poor bunny - snerk. You know I love him best.) I like your writing style and the angst you invoke so well with your words. Lovely!
