You know I like this. It's kind of poetic and your really making a statement as I'm sure is your goal. But who was the woman he told her, he couldn't see anymore cause there was someone else? And who is this about? My guess is Lucius for the reasons he survived the wizard wars and could be remembering. This is good though, I like your take on the death eaters. They are forced to give up the ones they love, which I think is the main reason that so many pure-bloods backed out in the fictional sixties before the war was starting.
