I love how Draco is smart enough to catch on that Hermione is the key to his father's happiness, and thus his financial happiness. I am glad that Lucius is enamoured enough with his wife that he is going out of his way to make her socially acceptable to his friends, and I use that term loosly, even though she doesn't seem to care. Great chapter.

Enjoyed the last two chapters very much. My dislike of Pansy aside, I was glad to see Draco, and I thought Lucius and Hermione gave a very good performance at the dinner thus far.

Can't wait to find out what the rest of the dinner-dance brings; I half expect Hermione to lose her cool or hex someone into next week.

While reading the entire part about finding their table and the network of whispers was perfect. It rang so true are you sure haven't lived my life? I can not wait for Hermione to act.

another wonderful chapter, my dear. i'm
pleased to see that neither of them are
blind enough to believe that this little
bit of information will be enough to gain
Hermione a foot on the rocky ground of the
    upper class's social groupings.

hopefully, Lucius can find something in that
oily, Slytherin brain of his to do just that.

i'll anxiously be awaiting the next chapter,
    my dear. good show.

    *hugs*

I'm feeling so bad for Hermione, poor little thing tossed into the snake pit. ::snorts:: Those snakes better keep their tails tightly coiled ... ;) thanks for sharing, Pitt

Blimey, Lucius really has got those cojones, hasn't he - flaunting his pregnant Muggleborn wife at the Wiltshire Wizards Country Club in front of all the people who wanted him out of the way. Why is it so strangely hot that he deliberately had Hermione dressed to show off her condition? I don't know...just is.

Great to see Draco being an ass again - ha ha, at the 'ferret' jibe. And Dementors flying up Hermione's dress - loved that image.

But Lucius has managed to lure everyone to his Manor - phase one of the plan complete. Good man.

Well, I'm sure this isn't the best fun Hermione's ever had, but I'm still looking forward to the conclusion of this uncomfortable dinner dance.

I have been thoroughly enjoying "Prisoners of Love - A Mystery" and regularly check to see if there has been an update.. The Lucius/Hermione ship would be my favorite Harry Potter couple.

Oh Lucius. That man. Well I must say that I'm glad that he's finally realizing that Hermione isn't one to be pushed around, no matter where he has her living, and that it is indeed time to rethink his approach to their relationship. Can't wait to see what happens....also, I'm a little nervous as I seem to remember the "bad guys" talked about plotting the demise of my favie couple at this dinner party...? Til then I shall be here....waiting....and waiting....and waiting...no rush, no pressure.....lol
