As always, I absolutely loved this chapter and was thrilled to find an update when I didn't expect one till at least tomorrow night. I was wondering though, if you had thought of posting some of your favorite stories in your account? I noticed that they have brought the feature to do so back, and I have found that a lot of the stories that I like are ones you have reviewed, and was wondering if you could post a couple of suggestions. I'm always looking for more and better stories to read and it gives me something to do while I await updates. Either way, I'm looking forward to finding out what else is going to happen at the dinner dance.

Ch 25-29 - ooh, nice. Lucius seems to be doing well in the culinary department, but.... ahem... what's so bad about house-elves, Hermione?? His elves can deliver dinner without Aggie ever seeing them. Hermione, Lucius, and baby all need to eat healthy meals. Get the elves!! And thanks for her parents being so accepting of Lucius.

I have never given the son-in-law/father-in-law relationship much consideration...in any context. It opens up unexplored territory. Now I have much to ponder and much to write. Thanks for the tweek!

    (Regarding the mystery)

So, one perpetrator is definitely male, the other is unspecified as of yet, giving me the impression that 'it' is female.

The unspecified person has been intercepting supplies meant for Azkaban and the ministry - mostly containing loo roll and other basic hygiene items.
    > Who would want to purchase these items?
    > I'd mostly be looking at hotels, other large companies with a high staff number.
    > Perhaps saint mungo's is buying it - have any characters thought to check there?
    > is Hogwarts on the receiving end of the supplies?

The thefts have been subtle, and nobody has noticed what they'd got until it was gone, suggesting the theft has been occurring over quite a while.

The villains still want Hermione dead, and are aware that Lucius also has his mind on the problem, and they now want him dead too; so, whatever they are doing is either (a) extremely dangerous or (b) going to be damaging to the wizarding world... so they don't want them to talk about it.

The villains are aware of the charity ball, as Hermione and Lucius have both pointed out, it is preliminary a pureblood 'thing', and rich members of the society at that... and the villains intend on going to the party to kill all three Malfoys... so, that suggests that they themselves are pureblood, but not in such a affluent position as the others.

They know Hermione is pregnant, but she doesn't tend to move into the wizarding world from her muggle home. Few people know she is pregnant, so, whom are they getting their information about the pregancy from? Which leads me back to saint Mungos, they'd be able to check the records if they were doing naughty deals with them... unless the villain I think of as female is actually Hermione's mediwitch or one of the nurses.

    hmmm.....

    10/10

This was an excellent chapter. Lucius is very sneaky with his wife. I can't wait to read the next chapter to see what happens at the dinner/dance and to eventually find out who it is that wants them both dead. Please update again soon.

I know I keep saying this but it's true. They're too cute! I love how he calls her his "tidbit". It gets me everytime. Big uh-oh on the dance thingy coming up....but I think they're underestimating Lucius and Hermione. Can't for the life of me figure out just who the bad guys are yet.....sigh. Guess I'll just have to keep reading. Dang it. lol Can't wait for more!
