oh wow. lots of juicy bits to be had in that
chapter if one looks for them. i very much
enjoyed it, though i can honestly say i don't
recall being that emotionally charged with my
son. granted that was almost sixteen years ago.
    still....

maybe it was because the sperm donor was never
around for me to deal with.

regardless, i'm looking forward to more.

    *hugs*

This was a great chapter. I am glad that Lucius confronted Scrimgeour about his imprisonment. I can't wait till they find out exactly who framed both him and Hermione. I look forward to reading the next chapter.

Ooh, tetchy, Hermione! It's the hormones Lucius should be keeping an eye on, not the diet.

Glad to see he knows the way to her heart though - reading 'Hogwarts: A History'! Ha ha.

It's good that Scrimgeour realises something is rotten in the Ministry - now we just need to know WHO these rotten apples ARE!

Another intriguing chapter; elements unravelling at a delightfully measured pace. Cheers!

hermione drives me crazy in this story as much as she dose in the books, so i guess you have he down pact on the attitude. i think you should let her relax some soon she is driving me crazy with her moods. i love this story and i can't wait to see how you bring it all together. they both have to learn compromise and forgiveness. keep up the good work and update soon please.

Lucius jumped up in alarm when he saw what looked like Hermione keeling over in a dead faint or worse., as I said previously, his actions are far beyond a concerned person

Well it sounds like Lucius can breathe easier knowing that Hermione's parents are not going to kill him and bury him on the property. The dinner went very well, I really like how you wrote Hermione's dad. In canon we don't know very much about her parents, it's always interesting to read other authors interpration on what her parents should be like. I really like your, they care for their daughter deeply, but they respect her decision and support her through it. I can't wait for more!

Hermione's dad is a sweetie. I liked him and Lucius bonding over botany, and his way of sussing out Mr Malfoy's feelings. Very subtle.

Is it just me that really can't imagine Lucius behind the wheel of a car, by the way? Cracking the whip on a racing gig - yes - behind the wheel - no. Curious. The man simply doesn't do mundane, does he?
