Woohoo! I was thrilled to find an update this morning! I was anxious to find out what would happen when Hermione took him to the market, I kept thinking he would end up trying to buy everything he saw that fascinated him. Im still looking forward to dinner with the parents :) My dad used to ask my dates to empty their pockets, then go through their wallet, if they had condoms he would make them leave. So are Hermione's parents prim and proper...will they astound Lucius with their sophistication....or are they gauche and loud...will he be horrified by his extended family?

    I cant wait!!!!

I adore the little bouts of conflict between our two subjects. I also think it would be funny if it turned out that Aggie was a squib! Just think how pissed off Lucius would be if he realised he could have cast a silencing charm on the bedroom!! I'm really enjoying how the plot is developing and I am desperate to find out who the two bad guys are and just what they have been plotting about Hermione and what the reasoning behind their plotting is. I'm starting to think that it has to be Slytherins....maybe Pucey and Flint or Warrington. Maybe it's Draco and Goyle? I'm in so much suspense it's killing me! Please, please, please, hurry and update very soon or I might have to poke your muse!
    Blessings

Yay, another chapter! Harry needs to get on the case of who did this to Hermione and stop worrying about Lucius. Probably impossible but it might help them. And when will Lucius glom on to the fact that he was set up? He'll go ballistic.

I loved Lucius at the store - I can't wait for him to go by himself and come back with the most ridiculous items ever and possibly mayo in a squeeze bottle to protect his precious hands. So, she smacked him away when he went for the chocolate - that's completely understandable. But to *threaten his HAIR* - Oh The Humanity! Well Hermione's no fool, she'd never go through with it. She adores him, and his hair, just as we all would.

The floo connection in Hermione's house presents a real problem. I mean one beyond its size screwing up the proportions of the room. The Ministry can and sometimes does monitor the floo network. I think that came up in OOTP. If they install a connection and use it, they're going to be busted by their enemies at the MOM. Surely Hermione remembers what happened with Sirius using the floo to contact Harry at Hogwarts? The appalling Umbridge-hand almost had him!

As for the yummiest show on television, "Brotherhood", I also have the first season on DVD - all that Isaacs was too tempting to pass up. I'm so thrilled that it's back.

This season, that first shot of him with the cap and the nodes on his head, glaring up at the camera was very... umm... pissed-off-Lucius. I feel so bad for Michael, as if he didn't have troubles enough last season - now he's got brain damage. He's obviously not a hundred percent but it looks like he's back in business - ready or not. Loved the "You're asking for it" scene - delicious. I am unattractively envious of that actress and I've decided she isn't good enough for Michael. *cough*greenwithjealousy*cough* Maybe he'll get a new love interest soon. I'm crazy about Michael being a badass as well. I'm glad they didn't do a long, drawn out hospital thing with his character.

Anyway, sorry for the extensive digression into "Brotherhood" chat. I don't know very many people who watch it. Actually, it's more that I don't know anyone else with a Jason Isaacs fetish. As always, I look forward to more of "Prisoners" it's a great story.

p.s. Apparently the first and second episodes were pre-released on the internet. I caught the first during the regular season premier but I'm downloading the second one right now. Yay!

Lucius is so funny - great sandwich-making technique there! But he should really know better than to institute a biscuit war - somehow he and Hermione can never see eye to eye over those biscuits.

I love hearing all his quaint old-fashioned views - especially over the necessity of having a stunningly-dressed wife - though he was a bit harsh about the termination of Muggles. Bad man.

Lucius had never been obsequious in his life - well, perhaps a little with Voldemort - that made me laugh!

But he is getting a little bit more sensitive, isn't he? He realised why Hermione got upset by his running down of her cottage. There is plenty of hope for him yet, if he can drop the whole Lord and Master thing (though of course I *like* that...).

Ha, another wrinkle. A lovely pun to end a lovely chapter. Although really, Harry's been such an arse in this one. I'm not very sympathetic. If I had a friend who I *thought* was in a bad relationship I wouldn't confront both partners at once and I wouldn't be nearly so illogically angry about it. Lol.

My goodness LaBib, you certainly paint a tantalizing picture of Lucius sound asleep in bed. Wow! I think I would just spend my whole morning just looking at him too, just like Hermione. Then he comes into the kitchen wearing nothing but a robe. Really you should stop. I

I liked the "tickled black" modification from Lucius, that was amusing. It's good to see that Hermione and Lucius are trying to make the best of a situation. Even though it looks like Harry is here to ruin that attempt. I just love your stories, it always keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Oh Geez! What the heck is on that paper that Harry brought? Ack!! Need...to...know...aghhh.

Ok, seriously now, a great chapter. Lucius is in over his head with Hermione - there is no way he'll come out on top, but humans are so notorious for being able to convince ourselves of anything when it suits our needs, and so Lucius is no different!

    Looking forward to your next!

And can someone PLEASE tell me how to get notification when new chapters are added?
