I was very behind on this story. I have taken on a new project that has taken away all of my free time. I don't have time to read or write at the moment. I was able to steal a few hours back today and catch up on my stories that I have been reading. It would figure that this chapter would end on a cliffy. My brain is a little frazzled, I'm having a hard me coming up with things to say. I am curious on how her parents are going to react to Lucius. Will they kill him for leaving their daughter? Or will they look at the fact that he came looking for her, without knowing about the baby first. Lucius still has a lot of personal issues to work on, but I am glad that he is very happy about becoming a father again. I wonder what Harry is up to and what is so important. I'm also curious if the villians followed him to Hermione's house and they now know where she lives and that Lucius is with her. Can't wait for more, hopefully I would be so far behind next time I have a chance to sit down and read again :)

what an evil cliffie. i do hope you don't wait
too long to update now. i was so looking forward
to her parents' reactions to him at dinner. i
guess i shall just have to wait with baited breath.
no worries, i won't use fish. that would just be too
    stinky.

it was a lovely chapter and i loved Lucius' line.
tickled black is just perfect. the other certainly
    wouldn't suit him at all.

do try not to keep us waiting too long.

    *hugs*

Another great chapter. I liked the part where Hermione let Lucius obliviate the two boys, especially when he added another punishment with it. I hope that Harry will learn to back off and let Hermione work things out with Lucius. I can't wait to read the next chapter. Please continue.

It's finally occurred to Lucius that he's going to be a father again - better late than never. Ha ha at Hermione wanting to call the baby Gryffin; she knows how to wind him up.

They continue to prickle and tease at each other nicely (and Harry continues being a prat, of course). Are those teenage boys any part of the evil plot? I guess they might want to dissociate themselves from it after the way Lucius dealt with them. Nice one!

Fantastic and interesting, and the frequent updates are divine. Watch the cat hair in the computer though - I thought mine was on fire once and it turned out to be singed cat hair too close to the motor (or whatever the bit that gets hot is called...not an engineer at all).

I'm always sympathetic to Lucius, even in stories where he's a lot more evil than this one. He's too handsome to hate. I like having a bit more backstory, it helps put everything in perspective and it's good to know more about Lucius in this story. He has it in for Scrimgeour but I have a feeling he's not one of the mysterious plotters. Dinner Chez Granger should be interesting.

I hope everyone is ready for "Brotherhood" on Sunday, September 30! It's nice to see Jason Isaacs in such an extensive, modern role. He does a great Boston accent, which is not an easy thing to do.

What an interesting chapter! I do feel a bit for Lucius, but he's so delicious he's got a large amount of latitude.

Somewhat worried about his temper; seems he's still got some internal issues to work out. Maybe having the baby will tame him some.

Looking forward to that dinner with Hermione's parents! Can't wait to see how that turns out :)

OK, I'll leave the skillets on the stove. I understand a little more about where Lucius is coming from. Don't get me wrong, I find Lucius seriously sexy, but the last chapter was frustrating. This one helps quite a bit, especially seeing what he was dealing with. I am enjoying your ideas on how to integrate Hermione into high society, and the fact that he has to play it entirely differently with her parents. That rage, though, that is a bit frightening.

This is a great story thus far. The interplay between Hermione and Lucius (who even though they have a difference in age [which I don't really care about even in real life] are perfectly suited) is absolutely perfect.
Hermione actually stopping to listen to Lucius' mea culpas and his explanation as to why he left her are also perfect, because they mirror some things that I have gone through in my lifetime.

i love lucius, but i stilll don't feel sorry for him. he keeps making stupid mistakes and then has the poor me attitude. i like how he accepted responsibility for the voldemort thing though. when is draco going to find out about his father and hermione and the new sibling that is on the way?

hmmm, liked the backstories. very interesting. i think hearing things from lucius' perspective helped hermione even if she didn't agree with what he did, it was so hurtful. somehow, it seems like they are going to have to talk about her little escapades out on the town, as innocent as they were for her, obviously lucius holds some anger towards it. confused as to why he threw the glass... what's with the erratic behavior?
