Ch. 13 Great story! Although I am rather disappointed that Harry give in so quickly just from a few soft-spoken words. I wanted him to run and give Draco a real chase for his money. :D I'll enjoy reading the sequel.

Ch. 11 That was beyond beautiful. It was transcendant. Of course, I was amused by Draco's thoughts and feelings as he looked upon the curse. He grudgingly admires Harry's stubbornness in having lived with this curse for so long without going crazy. But he refuses to retreat because he doesn't want anyone to think he's weaker than Harry is! That's kinda funny but typical Malfoy, I suppose.

It's too bad he wasn't able to shatter the curse completely. Somehow I don't think his word, of all the people, will be enough for them to think Harry is better. But I'll just have to check the rest of the story, won't I?

Ch. 2 I haven't read any of the HP novels except book 1 so some of the terms here are bewildering. But your story is coherent enough so that I can piece together the meanings.

It is also incredibly riveting. I didn't need the definition of the Cassandra curse since I know who Cassandra is. But the idea of such a curse as this is fascinating. I look forward to reading how Harry handles this and how Draco deals with a Harry who's constantly "lying" to him.

I love how your Draco is so honest with Harry. Even if this is a trait a long time coming or just a trait finally showing more due to situational proximity:

I love how you write action. Excellent. Powerful wandless magic Harry is so cool. Harry's struggle over himself is just so fascinating to read; his hope, panic, anger (that rage yell,whoo-hoo), his desperation, his silence, etc...

This was a great chapter. I would have never guessed the action or the escape to go in this manner. There was so much suspense in the air. The empty halls filled with wait of all patients and staff made the H and D's meeting so intimate casue it was like they were in this imaginary bubble a stolen moment of quiet in the middle of Time Square.

Still loving it all. I wonder how many times Harry will knock away Draco's out stretched hand(s). Regardless, everytime the whole situation is dramatic. They both have flare.

I love the gift Draco gave to Harry. I also love the way you wrote it:

"He caught the piece of his soul, and instead of letting it disintegrate, as a careless murderer would, or fastening it to an object, as was the way of most Dark magic using it, he made a gift of it, consciously willed it to go

"Draco might not know what Potter ultimately wanted, but he was opposed in principle to giving him anything he wanted, including contempt."
--Snort worthy hilarity. And if this first step leads to just the cure the doctor ordered all the better.

" He knew Potter best, and would only know him better. He ought to realize immediately what that expression meant."

Well I had just started chapter 4 when I remembered something I had wanted to say on chapter 3. Draco said soemthing about looking forward to wounding Harry in order to "heal" him through Psyche Diving which in turn reminded me of Harry saying that the Cassandra Curse had a very weak effect on people when Harry (the cursed) was under grave/serious/ubber damaging injury. And I think I paled at the time. All I could think of was uh-oh, by the time Draco figures this out will Harry be transfigured beyond recongnition or mentally damaged to the point of no return? Gah! So it was all foreboding and stuff. I wanted to record this particular reaction for future Pensive purposes of my own. :D (since this fic is already finished I am just having fun here)

"Harry caught the hope and strangled it before it could grow."

    Great Imagery.

"and yet he thought he could say that he understood the man better than anyone else. He always had."

This story is crazy twisted. But because it is so suspenseful it is also so very very Sweeee eeeet!
Also Harry being only able to tell the truth sounds like music to my ears. Yeah, the earlier "Ginny, you are the only woman for me" was nasty on my H/D tastebuds but Harry truths, especially coming from you (a so for real writer)...I just gotta hear.

I don't know how you do it. Nuh-uh, I don't. But I am glad for it.

This line had me in shock. "He had noticed the effects of the Curse almost at once, of course. It was hard not to, when you were condemned to speak the truth but have everyone around you react to it as if it were a lie."

I was stunned and struck by the nightmarish idea of it all. Little did I know..Harry's memories of how his current situation came about would have me in awe. Great writing! Simply Splendiferous. :D

And this reminded me so much of Harry, i.e. a very good true to JKR characterization you have here but with your added touch of a whole lotta /So much better/. Because you went there. You go there. Places that were just beneath the surface and sometimes dripping off the sleaves of the book characters.

"And he would survive. And the Cassandra Curse had taught him, through more than a year of bitterness and isolation and loneliness so biting that he had awakened with tears in his eyes sometimes, that he could only depend on himself. He didn

Wow. What a great first chapter. Draco's characterization alone has me hooked already. The atmosphere is already tingling with hightened senses and anticipation over how Harry and Draco deal with one another, and especially how the Draco of chapter one and the Draco of the End Chapter of this fic are the same or different. I couldn't help but grin with/at Draco; my curiosity, too peaked.

Ya know, I am a really great fan of your writing and before I really payed attention to it much, I had already read more than half of your written works before I even knew they were written by the same author. To me that says something. It wasn't till after some time during "I Give You a Wonderous Mirror" that I even realised, hey, this fic, and that fic, and that other fic I read some tiime ago, etc...were all written by you. That pleases me. To know that I found a great author of HP/DM fiction that I continously enjoy. That doesn't happen often--in fact very rare for myself, and though it may not be the case for anyone else for me it is something to celebrate.

Well, I am only on chapter one, and some may think I am getting ahead of myself. I just wanted to let you know, that because of my great enjoyment of your past writings that I am really excited about reading this fic. As I said before I don't usually read fictions that contain alot of therapy or psycology (sp) for various reasons, but I decided to go for it with your fictions because they have always been a success with me in the past. And now that I have read chapter one and was blown away by so many things (I will get around to that more when I find the words) the writing, the characterization, the many hinted stories behind the story, and so on. Well, I can't stop now.

Just wanted to thank you for a good read. So, Lomonaaeren, thank you very much for the many good reads.
    :D
