Great story! It's hard to even read the violent and cruel parts but seeing how the characters support each other so they can survive is inspiring. Many tissues later... I wish that stuff only happened in fiction but it doesn't. Bad and terrible things happen, stories like this are wonderful because there is hope at the end of the bad. It's a message I can't hear enough. Thank you! Wishing you and yours peace, safety, and love. Going for more tissues before I start the sequel....

Awe... It turned out to be really good... I have to tell you that I had my doubts in the beginning but I stuck with it because your writing was just really good! I'm glad I stuck with it now though! You have an excellent story and I look forward to reading the sequel!

I sat here and read this story all in one go. It was that good. Particularly Chapter 9, which made me pull out the tissues. Excellent story. I'm on to see about the sequel. Thanks for a terrific read.

Magnificent story! So far the shortest of the books you've written, although it didn't feel like it. You didn't skimp on details or sex. Great balance as usual. Love you guys ^_^

Wow, I stayed up all night reading this. I'm very glad that you wrote a sequel. I can't imagine Harry just hanging around in America with Draco while all the muggles and muggleborn wizards left in Britian are tortured and brutally murdered.

I'm interested to see if you address the wizarding world in America during the time. The books never talk about how much power Voldemort did or did not have in other countries. Did he establish puppet government leaders like he did in Britian? Or if he did not invade other countries, so to speak, then why didn't the wizarding populations of the other countries help Britian out? Of course maybe they did send Aurors to help but it just wasn't written in the book.

I like how you explained Draco's turn around in a plausible manner. I felt like Voldemort was a little too oblivious to Draco's feelings towards Harry, Draco was making it pretty obvious especially for Voldemort who is very suspicious.

Anyway - I can't wait for the sequel! Thank you for writing and sharing your work.

"free at last, thank god almighty, they are free at last!"

How the hell is Draco (aka David) going to live without all that money???

Ch. 20 I loved this story. So I'll get started on reading "Falling Star" as soon as possible.

Ch. 13 Perhaps I'm being too realistic here. But when a person has been recently raped and/or violated, physical intimacy is almost impossible for them to achieve. Anxiety, fear and the remembered pain are simply too much for them to allow it. Even when someone they care about touches them, they still react with distance, horror or violence or any variety of anti-social behavior.

Oh. My. God. Wow, this fic was brilliant!!! Yes, I think I must be VERY disturbed to say something like that...but seriously, I thought I had seen/read it all...and then you guys pull out Chapter 18.

OH MY GOD. That was incredible. Twisted, of course, but REALLY dark! I mean, I don't want to say it was great because the content of what they were doing wasn't great, but it was REALLY well written, and I respect you for writing it.

Anyway, I wanted you to know that even though I haven't reviewed as much as I did in the past, I tried to keep up with this story as much as possible, and I can't wait for the sequel. Hopefully it'll be a little happier than this one as David and Harlan try to settle into their new lives (even though I don't know if I'll ever get used to referring to them as such...they can try, but they'll always be Harry and Draco...)
