Almost no one reads the Male/Female category, I think; I check this category very rarely. I only hit upon this fic because you posted a Severus/Hermione one recently, so I wanted to see what else you've posted recently.

in any case, all the banter is very charming. I really like that Ron isn't an ass. The awkwardness of their initial sexual encounters was appropriate, and the last one is very hot. Her thought process is realistic--she can't help making mental comparisons, even thought she doesn't have ill intentions, and awkward thoughts about going to the bathroom and such pop up at odd times.

So where are you updating then? Your website is behind aff.net, so that doesn't seem to be your main posting place either.

Just read the prologue and the first chapter, and the story's bloody brilliant. You put a new twist on the platform scene, gave us a romantic hero that comes with built-in tensions of a kind we haven't seen yet for Hermione. And he's handsome and charming and intelligent to boot.

I'm really enjoying this story so far - and have absolutely NO problem seeing your formidable writing talents put toward a non-PWP - but I think your choice of staying in the present tense can be a little physically draining to read. Don't get me wrong, I adore every one of your fics I've read (to the point that, in my wizard rock persona of The Muggle Studies Professor, I've written a tribute song to you), it's just that present tense can be tiring to read sometimes. Not in a bad way, just in that "I'm not used to it and have to keep adjusting myself to keep up with it" way.

Hell, you probably understand what I mean.

Anyway, I shall continue reading and enjoying this story, and I look forward to Hermione and Teddy keeping me company on many more rides home from work through increasingly-atrocious traffic jams.
