This was a great chapter to read, but it hurt at the same time. I could almost feel what it was like for Hermione thinking that Severus hated her and the babe. I though that I was going to start to cry! Great job and please keep writing.

I thought I should chime in as I'm half-way through digesting your story that, while your "lemons" are very tasty, I am really enjoying the psychological aspects of what you're writing. I'm a bit disturbed by how submissive Hermione is allowing herself to be, but hey, we know that that happens. In the chapter I just read, she started to take some initiative, but chickened out. I'm interested to see where this goes. Have a few chapters left to read :)

I thought the snowglobe would trap them together inside of it XD Hahaha. Man I wish my story would finish up, but it just keeps going and going and going.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Poor Hermione, but at least she knows how to bring herself pleasure, and isn't ashamed to do so.

Do we really want to know why Snape has a vibrator in his cupboard? Did he really buy it for Hermione - or more accurately for him to watch her use?

The smut was brilliant! And refreshing for it to be more foreplay than actual sex.

Snape should know better! The Ultra Violet radiation of the sun is a necessity for the production of vitamin D! And Vitamin D is essential for the incorporation of calcium into bones! Sunshine is vital for health! Too much causes skin cancer - but some is needed! Yes, he's breaking her spirit, but he's also not helping her health! Vitamin D can be supplemented, but it isn't as good as that produced by the body.

The 'woman of questionable career' needs morphine? Does the magical world have morphine? Though, if I remember correctly, morphine is related to heroine... so is she after illegal potions??

Good grief! He's sozzled and plotting like the king of Slytherin he is! Impressive!

Hermione isn't asexual, she isn't clueless - but she's innocent... and Snape's probably going to do a thorough job of corrupting said innocence!

    11/10 for another wonderful chapter!

    Chapter 1

I burst out laughing at the very first line! Oh the wizarding mid-life-crisis sounds just like my neighbour - but he bought a Harley rather than a firebolt and didn't leave his missus! lol! And i loved how you established Severus as unique to society's expectations, though I do wonder when his hair first became long - or was it never cut?

Oh dear, that's not such a pretty image, Sev gone to seed is a very logical idea - but it isn't doing anything for my hormones! lol! Have to put him on a diet and an exercise plan! I can see him eating a personal trainer for breakfast after seeing some hulky bloke come in carying one of those sit-up exercise ball things! lol! (what was in that rice I just ate??)

Actually, a bloke quoting the periodic table would impress me, but not turn me on - I'm a biologist and love my biochemistry... however, my fience would probably look at me and tell me we already have a dining table! I think I can only quote about half of it, and probably not in order! A lot of people forget that men also have self-esteem issues with their appearance, just because they don't have a girly b**ch fest about it and go to the salon for their highlights doing doesn't mean they don't like the way they look. But I wonder what's making him think this now? When did Snape hit the big four-oh in this fic? Is that the problem?? Or is it the new leaf that has been turned over by the wizarding population.

I like how Hermione is a realist here, she's aware that he'll probably refuse to accept her as his apprentice - but it doesn't stop her asking. At the end of the day it costs nothing to ask. I also love her reasoning - the best teachers are those that push us further, and I'll vouch for that.

Good grief, Snape! What's wrong with flipflops? At least she hasn't got socks on under them! I think she should buy him a pair later on and let him see how comfy they are - black leather, of course. lol!

All this QUALITY and BRILLIANCE and English isn't your first language!? I'm a Brit and couldn't have done it better!

    11/10 for the start!!
