Uh-oh. Snape is not going to like that. I've always imagined him to be rather possessive. Can't wait to read more!

In reference to your A/N: I have read a few post HBP 'marriage law' stories where the managing of the problem of the reduced magical births was all-inclusive; everyone had to pitch in. Any unmarried purebloods, within a given age range, were to marry the half bloods and the muggleborns and in reverse, the muggleborns had to marry the purebloods and the half bloods, and the half bloods could marry from either group. Nevertheless, they had to marry and reproduce. This way it allowed for Severus' blood status to be half and yet still be required to save our lady faire to keep her from those horrid Death Eaters. Naturally, she could not marry the idiot Weasley because we are SS/HG shippers.

Voldemort was using the purebloods to gain the position of power he wanted. I do not think he truly cared about the blood status of his Death Eaters; power was all he wanted. Moreover, since he spouted Pureblood superiority, the magical world seems to have assumed he, too, was pureblood. It ends up as ironic that all the Pureblood Supremacists were backing a half blood.

Now, onto the one little problem I noted in your first chapters. You keep putting a period at the end of the title Miss. You forced me into a bit of research to make sure and at Wikipedia it says that Mr. has a period, Mrs. has a period, but Miss does not. Ms. does, but not Miss. [Unless it is at the end of a sentence.]

BTW, could tell within a few paragraphs of the first chapter that I was going to like your story. Great writing.
