This is a good illustration of what can go wrong in a D/s relationship. When the Master has trained the slave to ignore their needs in favor of his own to such an extent that the slave will continue a scene that is traumatizing due to guilt or fear, that's when you know you have a bad Master and an abusive relationship. If Severus was a good Master, he would have stopped this before Draco even had a chance to touch Harry. He would have discussed this scene and got Harry's agreement before bounding and blinding and stripping Harry and then pulled the guilt card "Do you trust me? Do you love me?" How can a slave thus trained say "no"? It was coercion, not submission.

On the other hand, Harry should have used his words well before things went that far. He has a responsibility to himself to be safe. Obviously, Severus as Master did not train Harry in that fact. Such a huge failure.

On balance though, the majority of fault lies with Severus. He had numerous opportunities to notice that his slave was not enjoying this and was infact quite upset. Severus did not act in the best intererest of his slave as a good Master is supposed to do. The Slave's submission is a trust that Severus failed. The Master has the ultimate resposibility and he failed.

My heart was breaking for Harry thorughout the story. Quite engaging of my emotions I must say. It's a sign of a good story, no matter the technical aspects of the story.

Not a fan of this one. If Harry was as uncomfortable with the arrangement as he was, then he should have said his code word long before they started. Even if he wanted to trust Snape, he should have stopped it as soon as he realised what was going to happen and that he really didn't want to do it. As he didn't say his word until after the fact, he never let anyone else in the room know how little he was enjoying himself. Had he, and Snape continued anyway, then it would be well within his rights to be angry at him. Anyway, the plot is pretty thin and would have held more water had you just made it a non-con/ kidnapping situation instead of having it start out semi-willing.

That was amazing. I'd love to see a continuation. Like, what Severus was thinking. After all, Harry didn't use his safe words until it was over. Severus trying to win Harry back would be very nice to read.
    Please?

    Wow! That was great!!!!!!!!!
There must be something wrong with me because I enjoy reading stories where Harry is tortured, but I have a really hard time reading stories where Draco is the one hurt. I wonder what that means. I am mainly a Draco/Harry fan (not Harry/Draco, mind you), but if there is anyone else I wouldn't mind joining in with them, it would be Snape (or even Lucius). But back to the story, I really like your style and I hope you will keep coming up with new stories because I have bookmarked your page :-)

woah. I like your writing style. I really started to feel Harry's pain. Wonderfully dark, yet detached. You have a great ability to make the reader feel conflictingly attached to the situation yet distanced by the perspective. I can't wait to read more!

I've never read something where Harry was 'willing' and in love and trusting Snape only for him to abuse that trust in such a way. It really chilled my blood to read the last paragraph, Harry saying his safe word AFTER it's happened, not only saying that he wasn't comfortable with what they were doing, but symbolic of the fact that he wasn't comfortable being with him any more, that he couldn't stay, Snape had pushed the boundaries too far, and should have known that his 'pet' his 'lover' wouldn't have been comfortable with having someone else fuck him. It wasn't just Draco violating him, but Snape who'd orchestrated the whole event. He said his safe word and ended the relationship. It was really quite angsty, but it was very well written and I ... not exactly liked ... reading it, because it was so emotionally charged and it brings about so many feelings, and you just want to cry along with Harry at the end and say 'how could that have happened?' with him.

Powerful portrayal of the situation. I'm incredibly impressed. Usually not my style of story (I'm not a huge slash fan) but I was wonderfully compelled. Also, I don't think you NEED to continue it, whatever your reviews may have told you. It is a perfect slice of time.

    *bows to you*
    Bravo.

Bloopfish had some interesting comments. I think that as a "Master" Sev went too far. I love BOTH Snarry and Drarry and threesomes between them, but this was obviously a betrayal of sorts. A GOOD Master would not have allowed Draco to make Harry bleed, either. I would like to see just why Sev did it. Some of his thoughts would be good, even if they're NOT good thoughts!!
