Overall good story so far. There are some rather odd things where you are apparently trying to show that Kathy, being from an earlier time in the 20th century. wouldn't have the same knowledge that Snape and Dumbledore do. Still, some of it's excessive, like not ever having seen a black man before. Otherwise, a good chapter.

I saw this story recommended on tambrathegreat's page. It's very good. Nice to see something so original with an OC that's definitely not a Mary Sue. Good OCs are rare. I'll go back to reading now.

That was awesome. You have a flair for dry British humor and I laughed out loud with this one and "Grindelwald"; love your writing style.

WAAAAAAAAA! *tears* that was a great story... i loved it! lol reading a story when finished is different then reading it when it is written simply because you can read the a/n and see the uncertainty and wavering of the author in times of choices... when you started you wrote something like "just stick with me i don't know where this is taking me" well it took you and the rest of us on a wonderful ride... if i might take one suggestion thought it would be that often times quotation marks where missing or in the wrong spot... making the reader go back and figure out if something was being spoken or not, this suggestion has nothing at all to do with your story or writing style (which were soooooo good) but something that could easily be fixed with a beta or willing friend who happens to be good at grammer lol well u can just dismiss my comment altogether if you wish as long as you keep writing :) well on to read more of ur works ^.^

Finally finished the story. Love how you made the story go with the original. Liked how you mapped out the lives of the Snapes and their children. Great job!

Aw, beautiful ending. I'm sorry to see that your son was sent back to Iraq after being injured there. I will keep you in my thoughts, and say a prayer for you at Thanksgiving. I hope things go well for you. Oh, and by the way, great story.

How sad this chapter was. I really felt for both of them. Poor Kathy, to see what a monster her friend had become, and poor Severus to have to face losing his love for a second time in his life.

That was a fantastic story I loved every bit of it. I know I am not that good at reviews what I want to say I just can't get it to come out right. Anyway I just wanted to say what a great writer I think you are. The ending was perfect Thank you for putting this story out for all to read.

    Beautiful ending.

Their powers merging is a fitting tribute to their union as man and wife. I love a good 'healing Severus' story, and she healed him more than just physically. Well done.

I LOVE the description of that little monster Severus the child. Oooh, I can so totally see it. What a handful, and yet, so completely unsurprising. My mom used to say by way of blessing/curse, "May you have three children just like you when you grow up." Oddly - she only said that really when we were acting up... No, it's pefectly fitting that Sev raise a hellion. But he did grow up to do well. Nice.

Ah, the 'puter business. I'm currently usurping my husband's laptop - which he grumbles about nonstop. My desktop took the nosedive, and that had all my files on it. The replacement I purchased no kidding blinked out of existance yesterday when I slaved the old harddrives, meaning all my tears are possibly a result of a particularly nasty virus. Monday is a national holiday here, so earliest I can get either in the shop is Tuesday. Until then my hubby is just going to have to deal with his laptop missing.

Ccino- bloody brilliant story as usual. I love your heroines, they have such depth of character. Even Kathy who, was for you quite timid really came into her own and developed so beautifully. I love that they are never stock characters who don't grow/develop. I will wait patiently for the Grindelwald story knowing it will be fantastic. I can only hope it's another time turner to the 1940s. I would so love to see Mister Snape dressed out in the era.

It's so tragically raw and beautiful your ending. But I'm glad there's humor thrown in to make it not so bleak. The death of Tomtom is a bittersweet thing. Personally, I love the line that went something like: 'My dear, my love, ....I ate your pies(?)' Ok, exageration, but great line.

And it's shaping up to be a happy ending.

Even for Jack. Does my heart good. See, Severus would totally be a responsible pet owner, not that Jack is a pet, but you know those people who get an animal and then get rid of it for stupid reasons (ok, I can't think of too many non stupid reasons to get rid of a family member), I don't see him doing that either. So keeping Jack is like making sure the family dog comes too. And the masses rejoiced.
