I completely adore this story. This is probably the HUNDREDTH time I've read it, and I still can't get enough. You captured the essence of the characters themselves and morphed them into somebody completely different but still true to the character.

Wow...can you feel the....erm....love? I had no idea this was the I-Hate-Ginny-Club.

I myself am firmly in the I-LIKE-Ginny-Club, however, having said that, I will admit that as far as fanfic goes, Harry/Ginny is not one of my favourite pairings, as I don't really care for het fanfic all that much, although I don't mind reading it once in awhile. Anyway, the point is THIS fic, which is well written and quite sad and tragic, and in a way quite realistic as there are many men out there who tend to ignore their daughters in favour of their sons. It pains me to see Harry doing this, but you've written it very well. It was pathetic that Harry wasn't there for Lily's birth because he was off doing Draco, and it was so sad that Harry couldn't even be bothered with his daughter enough to make the effort to appear at her birthday parties. The real tragedy came not when Lily refused to believe he was her father when he did finally show up, but that he didn't even care. That was heartbreaking. I cannot truthfully say that I like this story, because I have a very difficult time liking or even feeling much of anything for a Harry who could be so utterly cold and uncaring, apathetic, (particularly to his own child) it's too OOC for my tastes, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a well written fic, which this certainly is. The bit with Ginny and the dildo was rather disturbing, but at the same time there was something exquisite in the way you wrote it. I think to a lot of people this would be a pathetic act, but they way you wrote it expressed more her desperation at knowing she was losing the man she loved, would do anything it took to keep him, and yet could, ultimately, do nothing to stop it. When you wrote that Harry didn't stop her, let her go on with what she was doing, I thought maybe he was finally going to show some feeling, some kindness, or even some anger, but no. He took the coward's way out and left while she was sleeping, saying nothing. I could have forgiven him, even then, but him leaving the boys a gift and a note saying they were welcome at Malfoy Manor and that Lily was not, nothing for Lily, and being selfish enough to think he WAS giving her a gift by just leaving, put the seal on Bastard!Harry for me. I hated him then, and Draco too for accepting James and Albus but not Lily, but......this is a good thing, because your writing evoked that, made me feel, and that's the hallmark of a good writer. So, although I don't like this story, (I will never like Bastard!Harry, and although I like Gay!Harry, WomanHater!Harry is too OOC) I do like your writing, I have to say good job! for that, and I'll be looking for and reading more of your work.

I suppose this fic is really good.. we can feel the emotions and all that. Poor Ginny. Life is not fair. I don't think i've ever hated harry more than i did on this fic, cause my dad is so more caring with my brother than with me... Fucking idiot

I felt that this was really quite good. It was emotional, the way you had Ginny wishing she could hold on to Harry, but Harry knowing the only one he could love was Draco. Adding in the children was a very different touch. Poor Lily. Ah well.

Whoa! I am so glad I came across this lovely gem. I really hated the DH epilogue...really because I wanted Harry to end up with Draco. This is the way it should have gone. Thank you for this.
