PS: And yellowed teeth does not necessarily mean teeth the color of butter. Many people have yellowed teeth and its hardly noticable. I notice those with blinding white smiles more, but don't think them any more or less attractive than others who don't. Crooked teeth are rather common too. My son has crooked teeth but his smile is adorable. lol.

Sheep: Well, that's canon Snape for you. I figured he's about 5' 10 because I believe in Deathly Hallows he had to look up at a couple of Death Eaters. Of course he could be six feet and they were six four but, eh, naw. That's a stretch. Canon Snape is not sexy. It's his demeanor that attracts us, his darkness, his duplicity and his courage. Not his looks. Fanfic compensates for it by making him more attractive in dress, height, and reserve. But the real Snape wears nothing but greying or worn underwear under his robes, is not just skinny but gaunt, has oily hair, isn't tall, is ugly (to most) and loses his temper to the point of spraying spittle. But he is a complicated character that captures the imagination, not to mention the Snape of the movies. Rickman is not a bad looking man at all. I think a lot of fanfic readers and maybe writers identify more with the Snape of the screen rather than of the book. I decided to give canon Snape his chance. He deserves it, yellowed teeth and all. :)

Pleaaaazzzzze say you will end things with Ron soon???? One thing is that I am totally allergic to that pairing, but I like for Hermione to have more brain and guts than to play house with Ron because it is safe and expected of her (and it is soooooo un-sexy:-)))

    Update again soon

It's such a pity, Ron seems like just the sort of fun-loving person you'd want for a friend. Why Hermione decided to make him anything more, well, that was her mistake. I doubt they'll be any going back once she's left him. He'll be unreasonable angry, he'll attack Snape, possible Hermione as well, and that will be the bitter end of their assosiation. Well, unless you decide to add the "Harry" factor, where he goes and calms him down, talking sense, and then Ron becomes even happier with another witch and everyone moves on.

Snape... it's a little weird warming up to him. For me, anyway. I like his demeanour, and overall look, and I'm not particularly attached to his "darkly handsome" reincarnation... but the idea of him being a scrawny, thin skinned, yellow teethed man of average height is dimming some of his sex appeal. Even with that mammoth bit of man meat swinging between his thighs. I think it's the teeth that are really doing it for me... I imagine a bad taste and rough tonge to come along with it.

I will admit that the idea of them finding a potion that fixes him up is appealing. It popped into my head, and won't go away, though I know I'm heading for disappointment. It

    Heh,
    Ron is L-A-M-E, LAME.
But it's probably a good thing he's around, or Hermione would have nothing crummy to contrast with Snape.
    Great chapter.

I love it I love it I love it! This story makes me think of Phantom of the Opera, with Snape trying to seduce her adventurous side. And the Christmas party was hilarious. I hope you continue soon.

i was wondering if severus planned to seduce her physcially or just mentally, and then there is that last line in ch3. now what i want to know is how planned this seduction was. did he know that she would pursue him for an answer to her gift? did he originally plan this seduction for another time? or is it like he said, he knows her better than herself? either way i love how ou write hermione and severus. this cautious almost weak hermione is interesting. i want to know what she will be able to do, how she will develop. i look forward to the next chapter.
