Loved it! The sex scene was magnificent. I felt the emotions rather than experienced the sex act. It was nicely written and very poignant.

Poor Lucius. Everyone hates him and wants to make him a bad guy. Oh well, at least he knows I still love him. His inattention to his son was quite telling, by the way. He seems to be obsessed and that is never good.

Harry's regret was genuinely written and was not overwrought. I loved the whole chapter and the artwork that went with it was great.

    Yay!

    Chapter 48:

Good point about the intimacy. Severus loves harry and has for a long time. Right now, I think Harry is in the first blush of lust, he needs to slow down and enjoy being with Severus before he knows him more physically. There goes Severus making the noble sacrifice again.

    Chapter 49:

Good bit with Harry remembering what had happened and then looking at Ginny. He's in a bad situation, but he really does need to do somehting about it.

    Chapter50:

Oh, that was heart-stopping. Ginny is so oblivious of what is going on. That was a sweet last line for Severus. He really does love Harry, it's not just about sex with him.

    Chapter 51:

Finally, the wait is over, and both of them have what the wanted. It was sweet and quite touchingly written.

    Chapter 43:

Hah! I knew I was right. You authors always want to make my poor, misunderstood Lucius the bad guy. Poor, poor Malfoys. They are so discriminated against. Tut. I do sense that Lucius will use the information he gleans to break-up Ginny and Harry. What a delicious revenge. I hope it backfires on him.

Whoops. The were almost caught in flagrante delicto. Poor kids.

    Chapter 44:

And there it was. Lucius will use the information and there will be a world of hurt for everyone. I feel sorry for them all. Severus and Harry really do love each other, and Ginny being duped. She's going to feel so hurt, angry and so damned inadequate. Poor thing.

    Chapter 45:

Slyterins rule when it comes to subterfuge.

Good dream sequence. Again, you had me.

    Chapter 46:

I am glad you are still showing Severus have some misgivings about the situation. What a wicked little bit of hotness at the end.

    Chapter 47:

I have nothing to say about that chapter, I'm still recovering.

    Chapter 40:

I liked the line about Harry not being defined by his sexuality. He is just Harry. That was a good peice of work.

Also, I was wondering about the subplot you introduced a few chapters back. (I suspect you've made my favorite character the heavy) When will you get back to that? Oh crap, are they going to go after Severus?

You did it again, with the bed comment, my heart gave a leap and then... fizzle. Your guys are such teases.

    Chapter 41:

Poor Harry is caught in a huge conundrum. I do understand about his indecision. It would be a large step for him to cheat on his wife, but a huge step to decide on a relationship with a friend.

I loved the way Harry accused Severus of 'turning' him gay. It just shows how conflicted he is.

That was a good last line.

    Chapter 42:'

    Woo Hoo! some progress.

I really hate my computer sometimes. I had all these fantastic comments, and now they are gone. I can see what you're doing, and I like the small seductions each of them are enacting. I'm so glad you decided not to go with an impersonal prostitute. That was such a horrendously bad idea on Harry's part.
    chapter 39:

I'm glad the snark is back. Severus really needs to establish himself with Harry. Good job on Harry's turmoil. He's really having a crisis of conscience. I loved the last line of Severus'. It's good that he can admit he's confused too. It puts them on more even footing.

    Chapter 33:

Poor Severus actually getting recognition. I can't imagine a worse case scenario for him. And there is the scheming Slytherin we know and love with his answer to Harry about Ginny and sex. That worked out well for him, didn't it?

Whoo Hoo! Harry is finally pulling his head out of his arse and recognizing what is there. I do feel sorry for Ginny. She has entered this relationship after years of pining after Harry, only to have him start to discover he's attracted to Severus. Maybe that's why JKR killed him off.

The whole scenario when they were talking about Severus in the shower wanking off was hilarious and highly embarassing. It was a glimpse into how much Harry doesn't get what's going on. He's beginning to realize, but it seems he can't credit what Severus is doing to him. And EW! Harry thinking that Snape wanked off to his Mum's image. EW.

    Chapter 34:

I like the little hints of attraction that even Harry can pick up on, even if it is, at this point, subliminal to him.
That line where Severus spoke of Harry dithering and well the whole scene where he is trying to pin Harry down (wow, everything I write about this section comes out sexual) is very good. Harry must be very confused. The thought of him wanking to the image of Severus was so wrong in so many ways, but just perfect for the story.

Oh, and the slow build-up to that scene was quite hot, did I mention that?

    Chapter 35:

Damn you. Even though the thought of him having an orgasm over just thinking about Severus is pretty nice.

And a Polyjuiced whore? What is he thinking?

    Chapter 29:

That is so heartbreaking for Severus to discover he is too late once more. It was a good choice to make the entire chapter from Snape's perspective. It made it all the more heartbreaking seeing his acceptance that once more he must do his duty. Sad. You guys made me want to cry.

    Chapter 30:

Poor Severus, and what was that moment between him and Harry? That was interesting with Harry's head resting on his shoulder.

I like how you have Severus manipulating Ginny with the "You're not your mother." comment.

That was just evil, that cliffie. Thank god I found the story before I had to wait for the next chapter.

    Chapter 31:

How did Severus see Harry's Patronus if he couldn't cast it? Am I assuming there is a significance to that that there isn't?

The mad dash through his rooms and the house for Ginny's potions waw well-written. It had me on edge.

    Chapter 32:

"...And you don't want your son growing up with the shadow of death hanging over him. He didn't die." That is an excellent line, especially coming from the man who wanted to die because of Lily Potter's death. I hope, in your story, he is able to take his own advice.

That was a good moment when Harry and Severus looked at each other and the laughter died. It was subtly written, but clear enough that it gives the reader (and Severus) hope for their future.

    -chapter 51-

Will the hotness ever cease? I most certainly hope not! I like the way you handled their first time, more realistic than most stuff I see.
    Their connection grows! Yay!

I can't wait to find out what happens now.

P.S -> I just looked at your reviews before reading this, 265 congrats! You guys deserve every one of them. :)

I am very impressed with this story. I'm so glad you've decided to keep it canon, according to what is actually in the book. I like AU's well enough, but I love when people take the material they have and fit their idea into it. I enjoy the realism you have put into this story... the way Harry doesn't think it feels that great the first time and that he's a little bit afraid. Those emotions and feelings are real. They make your characters more true to form. Thank you for providing me with a very entertaining story.

    Oh. My. God.

I'd say finally, but really, the foreplay for me is all the stuff that leads up to this. That was mind-blowing. Now I can't wait to see if Snape addresses Harry's feelings on their first-time position.

I'll admit it. I'm *totally* jealous!

I suppose you'll leave us all hanging for a bit now, won't you? I mean, we've been begging and begging for it even more than Harry and we're not even the ones Snape is... right. This is my cake. I have it and I shall eat it too!!

Thank you for that great post. I am *so* glad I didn't open that at work (I'm just reviewing at work...)

    Chapter 26:

Poor Severus, and I can imagine Harry's dreams that 'he can't remember' are quite similar. Lucius is too astute a person not to want to use Severus in any way he can. That was quite ominous and really a good touch.

    Chapter 27:
Trust Lucius Malfoy to mix things up a bit. I wonder, though if that's what he meant by the quote.

    Chapter 28:

What a shock! And it had to be our Potions Master that found it out. Poor guy. I do feel sorry for him. If he had acted before Harry's wedding, I wonder how things would have changed.
