Oh good this is depressing, I ran out of tissues. :-)
I love a good story that moves you to tears. I can't wait for the next one. And I'll make sure I have more tissues with me.

I'm sure that most of us have lost someone and understand how that empty space aches contantly. Time does ease the pain, but it never fully leaves. Poor Harry & Ginny, they both love and will miss Severus. As heartrending as it may be, his absence could be the best thing for the longevity of H&G's marriage.

But....are you really going to end a Snarry as a pure HET fic??? *sniffle*

Honestly, I think you're both being too sensitive. This story has gone on for 70+ chapters, with you both swearing that it's going to be a Harry/Snape only story but adding in pretty much every possible twist and turn you could think of to keep it from happening (whether realistic or not because soap operas can be realistic even if a bit dramatic). Sorry to say, but that often happens in soap operas, so where my reference comes from. You can't blame me. Believe me, I doubt I'm the only one wondering where this story is going, especially in the last few chapters. And I put an emphasis on the wondering, because that's what my review was.

You say no offense, but I'm pretty sure you did intend offense. Honestly I think author's these days need to learn to handle the criticism that is less than positive and just by your reaction to any reviews that question where there story is going, rightfully so, it makes me think you two can't. And it's sad, because your combined writing is actually quite nice, you just need to stop taking such offense to things.

    Chapter 70

Yep, you still got it. I teared up at the whole conversation with Dumbledore. I am so sorry to see Severus leave, but Dumbledore and Hermione were right, Severus did not need the meddling. He's in a better place than he was before and at least one person he loved, loved him in return. Wow, this sounds like a eulogy.

I liked the bit with George telling Ginny how it felt to lose Fred. That was lovely.

Thanks again for the good, non-melodramatic read.

I just today discovered and read all chapters. This is a brilliant story thank you so much for sharing. I don't see where it's going even thought it's clearly posted a snarry. But you have me hooked so please update more. I usually don't read unfinished works because for some reason so many great authors never finish some works, but I snuck a peak and was hooked. So please finish :o)

wow what a ride! this story has more twists to it then a country road lol. wonderfully written so far! I wish harry would have chose a partner and stuck with it (of course my pick would be sev but that is just me). it is just not fair to all of them, but the story, just like real life isn't always fair and goes the way you want it lol. I can't wait to see how you take it from here. I have to say harry is more then a little scary in his distressed state. but I would love a email alert when you have updated if it wouldn't be to much trouble :)

ok I am on chapter 35 I think, I just found your story this morning and I have to say awesome job! The characters are written very well and can easily be imagined saying and acting the way you have wrote them. I have many more chapters to read til I reach the latest update but as I am reading each chapter you are asking for a review and I feel it would be a over load if a wrote one for every chapter so far but couldn't help but tell you how great the story is so far and that I can't wait to read the rest that is posted. :)

I was behind you at first, now I'm starting to doubt a bit. The story's starting to feel a bit like a soap opera to me. A few too many twists and turns that feel a bit like they're thrown in for affect. Maybe not, I dunno. I'll reserve judgment.

That was a really emotional chapter. I cried when Ginny finally realised that Snape would not return and at Harry's reaction to the entire fiasco. It just doesn't seem right that Lucius gets a little victory nookie while everyone else deals with the aftermath of his machinations. And poor Fairnecombe...

Great job. It was a treat.

Knowing or thinking there could be a way to cheat death seems to make the separation impsible to accept. We are used to accept death as final and while it hurts the fact that we can not do anything about it gives up a chance to heal. Harry on the other hand defeated death twice therefore Severus death will be not only painful in its own right but also a personal failure. If we add to this guilt the wheight of the affair, we can see how Harry will simply be crushed. So much sorrow!

Harry's refusal to look at the portrait and see if Severus was in it is by far the most honest expresion of grief in the chapter. Was I the only one chanting "don't look"?

I'll to back to crying into my ice cream now...

There is angst and then there is Angst. Sorry I had to give up after about 10 chapters. It is a well written story, but takes way to long for me. I checked out the last chapter and still angst.

Ah well, wonderfully written, but beyond my tolerance for angst. Thanks for sharing though.
