I also think Gabreille wouldn't be to bad. Veela age different (?) so she would be of legal age even if she is younger.

So far so good in my opinion. You asked for parings in chap 1 for Harry.

No.1 for me is Hermoine. In cannon, Harry & Hermoine are best friends. In my opinion, best friends make the best lovers. They have a bonding already established, & it makes a relationship that much stronger. Also Harry is one of the strongest wizzards ever, while Hermoine is one of the smartest. Together you have brains & brawn. That is a combination that is unbeatabile. Plus she is a very fine girl.

No.2 or 3 would be either Tonks or Luna. Evanna Lynch (according to picts I saw) has to be one of the hotest girls I've seen. Also since Luna is in Ravenclaw, she has to be very smart. (Brains & brawn again). Even though she seems a little loony, she is still very well grounded, & could work to stablize Harry regaurdless what happens. As for Tonks, she is also very hot. What guy wouldn't love to have a metamorph for a girlfriend. I really don't know much about her, but being an auror, she has to have a pretty high skill level. Also she would have to had brains to qualify for auror training.

No. 4 for me would be Ginny. The only problem I have with her really, is the fact that in canon, she was in love with Harry since she was 6. She had never met him, so she was in love with Harry Bleedin Potter, not just plain Harry.

Those are the only four choices that I see, since you said no slash, I assume that there will not be more than one for him. If more is acceptable then just about any combination of those four would work for me.

Yay, found Chapter 3! LOL Alright, first of all, WOW on the detail! Way to put Sirius' will off there...procrastinator! haha j/k

Gryffindor's Sunshine Boy? *snicker* Um, okay...(yeah, THAT indicates that Harry is straight...*rolls eyes* NOT!) *cough* Not pushing!

Just out of curiosity...Number 4 Privet Drive is a Muggle residence...and doesn't Uncle Vernon own it? He was accusing Harry of trying to get it in the last book, which would mean that Harry DOESN'T have the deed to it...especially a Muggle deed...in a wizarding vault...I'm just sayin...

Oh, and just so you know, you CAN use "Harry" quite a lot instead of "the last Potter" "the remaining Potter" "Head of Potter family" etc etc etc. Those just sound...odd (my opinion) and it takes me a second to remember who you're talking about. (Kind of like the "Supreme Mugwump" title referring to Dumbledore...just because it's a title doesn't mean you have to use it...)

So is the King of Dragons speaking Parseltongue in Harry's head?

AHHHH, so THAT's why Harry bought her a quill? It's more believable now within the context of the story, but...I still have a hard time buying it...sorry... (I'm guessing this isn't exactly HBP and DH compliant, then? Or is Skeeter going to go back to her old ways?)

And the King of Dragons just being...THERE...seemed a little convenient/contrived. (Not super believable, but I'll go with it) But then, I'm guessing that the person isn't speaking Parseltongue because Charlie doesn't speak Parseltongue...?

Percy...that limelight stealing attention hog! He couldn't have waited until AFTER Harry's party? LOL j/k

And by "thoughts" (with regard to the journal that was NOT a Horcrux that Ginny gave him) you mean "private fantasies about Draco"...I totally understand! That's what MY journal consists of! hehehe

And now, a quick review of another review *wink*: You know, DarQuing said the exact same thing!!! ("Don't you guys have enough of that already?") and the answer is "Of course not!" lol See, here's where we (the reviewers who are pushing for slash) are coming from: we're slashers. We don't READ anything else. Except for the fact that DarQuing is our friend, and so we are showing support for his story by reading it.

However, we would support it more if it were slash. lol If it turns out that it's not going to be, *sigh*, then fine, and we'll still read it, (but ONLY because we love you, DQ!) But we personally think that slash would make the story better, which is why we keep suggesting it. Also, we're still operating under the assumption that this story was mismarked...*wink*

However, I completely support the "Keep Harry Away From Ginny" stance! DOWN WITH HARRY/GINNY! Just out of curiosity...Susan Bones? Was that a random choice or was there a reason for requesting that pairing? (No offense meant...Susan just wasn't a major character)

And yes, I have not wavered on my Harry/Draco advocacy stance. But I'm sort of in the mood for some femslash, so who knows WHAT that's about. LOL

Good job, DQ! How's Sirius' will coming along now? *wink* We'll get you through it!

This is so far an all right read.

I don't know why certain reviewers insist on wanting slash when the story is clearly marked as a het. Don't you guys have enough of that already? Guess not.

About Harry having homework...,he does have summer homework except for after 5th year due to the O.W.L.'s. You might want to take that mention of 'horcrux' in the 3rd chapter. He doesn't know about them until well into 6th year. There, I've geaked out.

Go for Ron/Luna and Harry Hermione. Or, Go Harry/Susan Bones and go Viktor/Hermione. Just keep Harry away from Ginnie. Let's not follow canon shall we.

This Mewtwo will be waiting for the next chapter.

Chapter 2. I'm corrected. I do have questions. I wonder if it was something I missed, but if the school year hasn't started why is he doing homework?

Using the key is certainly as more creative way then just transfiguring the bed into a desk. Especially seeing as Harry is still and underaged wizard. Okay, but why would Harry buy Skeeter a new quill?Even if she did sign something, I mean could you really take her word for it?

Dragon's that speak parseltongue? I'll have to think on that one. I'm confused. "No, I'm afraid not." But she gets the interview anyway? I must not be reading closely enough. Harry seems a lot bolder then I remember him in anything. He has a confidence that's hardly seen in him. I like the change but it seems so sudden.

And nice little twist as the end.

I'm inclined to say that this story is a little farfetched as there's no Harry/Draco love scene. However, that would be very remiss of me, I'm trying to keep and open mind. Okay, I don't know what to think. It seemed realistic when Harry denouced the Dursley house as him home. It was something that I could see happening in the books, if they were done. Well technically it kinda, sorta did happen like that, sorta. I laughed out loud with the floo powder and the two vases. "No, that's Mr. Figgs."
There's really not much to say. It's well written but it doesn't leave me to ask many questions because it seems pretty straight forward.

Harry...girlfriend...no slash...please....well, fuck! I can't say anything then!!! *wheedling tone* Can it be Draco Polyjuiced as a girl? (*cough* That doesn't count as slash! *cough*) Well, you know how I feel about Harry and girls...and who Harry REALLY belongs with...but you did ask for "no slash" so I will refrain from making my comment.

*suspicious* He bought Rita Skeeter a new quill? Did he poison it? Enchant it? Because Harry HATES Rita Skeeter with a passion, and who can blame him? (and if you put THEM together, I swear to God I will send Draco after you to hex your bollocks off!) I'm keeping this tucked away in the back of my mind as a "I don't think so" moment, UNLESS it's a Killer Quill or something else just as nasty to be revealed later...

I like the idea of the keys to change the furniture around and all...original...but is there a reason they couldn't Transfigure? I mean, Dumbledore WAS the Transfiguration professor before McGonagall, so either he would have Harry come to meet him in his office at Hogwarts or else he would Transfigure a chair or something if he were meeting Harry somewhere...

*skeptical* Dumbledore didn't know that wyvern spoke Parseltongue even though they were in the dragon family? I dunno...Dumbledore is pretty all-knowing...plus wouldn't he have received messages from Gringotts before and know about the wyvern and such?

Interesting...so is there a "good" use for Crucio? Just curious and pretty much just playing Devil's Advocate...ignore me.

Intelligent feedback...intelligent feedback...Okay, first of all...*falls to knees* PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for Harry/Draco!!! LOL I know, I know! We made a deal and thus, here I am, reading a non-slash story, which I haven't done in at least four years, so you are something special!!!

*deep breath* Here goes...

*squick* Okay, okay, I get the references to Alastor/Arabella. Yeesh...wait, *FOCUS* on the plot...lol

*raises eyebrow* Head of the Wizengamot? Supreme Mugwump? *sigh*...Okay, honestly, I think that Petunia would take more coaxing/threats to get her to talk, and Vernon would be purple-faced and screaming (but I guess he's not there). But the way you've done it is fine, and I can see that...

LMFAO My favorite part of the chapter: "The Floo powder is in the blue vase on the mantel. No, that's Mr. Figg." *giggle* Nicely done!

AUGH!!!!!!!!!! Alastor/Arabella?????????? GARRRRRRRRRRR That's a little more het than my slash-inclined brain is able to handle!

Alright, starting slowly, but don't despise small beginnings!!! Good job! On to Chapter 2!!!
