lol. Well, you certainly got Ron out of the way, didn't you? I'm sure the "warring lovers" plot device existed long before "Love Can Be a Battle or a War" girl. lololol But fighting lovers can be fun. :)

No offense but I though this was an o.k. story up until chapter 8. From there on out it made absolutely no sense, and it reads as if a 12 year old wrote it. Sorry but I can no longer support.

Don't worry I resisted temptation, due to it being very VERY far fetched. Hmm. Now .. what to write.

I threw in the Ron / Draco bit as something humorous and way out there. Perhaps a disturbing force to push Severus and Hermione together? ;3 Gosh I wonder how Hermione would act when she finds out Severus is working on breaking the Blood Bond.
    Angry? Interested? hmm.

Hopefully soon. I'm in a bit of a slump now. I'm trying to gear up to write the lemon for the pwp "Why Just Watch" then hopefully, I'll be suitably warmed up and TB will be next. That story is almost over. When I finish that one, then I'll finish Alternate Universe.

Good story, your really tackling it head on, chatty.

When are you going to continue your other tales, Miss Figg? I'm still breathless for Alternate Universe, and Twice Bitten, and all the other brilliant little pieces that lie unupdated.

JT: I entitled this story "Very Nearly Veela" with the intentions of Hermione having some Veela attributes by transference, but not enough to make her a true Veela, just enough to wreak havoc with her life and Snape (of course) For example, Veela can turn their sexiness on and off. Apparently, Hermione just exudes it. So far anyway. It's like she's infected. :)))

chatty: All right. In your chapter "The Rescue" I added a few words and had Fleur drag Snape with her when she hugged Hermione, so they didn't break contact. Continuity established. lol. And thanks JT. Your points only help make it better. ***

Thanks for the clarification Miss Figg. I went back and reread the part about it being a lucid dream. I'm still a little confused...I thought Hermione wasn't going to be a Veela, but now she giving off the emotions and signs toward Serverus and both Fluer and Severus acted as if that was natural? Hopefully, whomever does the next chapter can fill in these gaps. It's going back and forth so much I'm starting to get whiplash. Not to fear, I'm along for the ride. I can't wait for the next chapter.

JT: Okay, even though I didn't write the chapters, I can kind of come up with an explanation for this . . . I have to justify the unjustifiable all the time. lol. Let's look at it this way. Fleur is mostly human, and therefore she is grounded and can move another human through the veil as long as they keep in contact. (will have to do a little editing chatty . . . since Fleur let go of Severus to wrestle with Hermione. I'll do it. lol) Veelas aren't human at all so can't transport them. They can only do so if the human has Veela attributes like Hermione did. Which also explains how they were able to attempt to kidnap Fleur, because she has Veela blood. I hope someone will work this in, maybe with Hermione asking Severus how he managed to enter the realm so it's in the story.

Okay, I thought of another issue. How was Severus able to go to Veeleria and see the king? If Fluer was able to get him in and make everything visiable, couldn't other Veelas bring woman to the men?

JT: Ah yes. It appears some of our reader/authors decided they didn't like Hermione being shagged by ugly Veelas, so that now that entire episode was a "mind-illusion" meant to soften her up for the real deal. Which was also conveniently thwarted. lolol. Got to admit, they're creative!

Great job on the story. Only one correction. In Chapter 4 (Veelria), someone has Hermione having sex in the bath with the Veelas, but in chapter 11, we have her as a virgin???

Chatty, the rest of the chapter was great! I love the fact that you are trying to establish the idea that what Snape is feel has nothing to do with the veela effect! Great work.
