    Chapter 45

Even more interesting than I had thought. I hope that they have at least 'stemmed' the tide on the New Wave Master's plot. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

The Gaunt introduction was interesting. I wonder what that family is doing at the time of this story. Maybe it would serve Lucius and Hermione to look them up. I can imagine them being hedge witches and poor, or even lower level aristocrats and slightly mad. This story just blew open and I love it.

Oh...wow! The irony of Voldemort's precious Wizarding world being annihilated by his vengeful Squib cousin hardly needs pointing out! I did wonder if the NWM was some kind of renegade Squib, but I didn't imagine he'd be a relative of Big V.

So they really are completely turning history on its head. Aww at Lucius' depression of conscience. He's a changed chap (in some ways, at least).

So I wonder if their work is really done? Ask the Veil! Marvellous plotting here.

Forgive me for not reviewing sooner. I truly love this story and I couldn't resist clicking the next button as soon as I could. Okay so some of the things I love:
    1. Lucious Lucius. He is total dreamboat! I love everythign about him right down to his clothes fetish and slightly dark tendencies that hang around.
    2. Lemons. Yum! You write some fantastic smut and oh how I wish I were in Hermione's shoes! Who doesn't?
    3. The plot/mystery. Yup, I'm reading your story for the story, not the lemons (although they are wonderful). I am so bloody curious about what's happening and if they are going to succeed and if they will ever return to their own time and if they will manage to be together then too, and and and....sorry. I know you can't answer any of those!
    4. The Veil. Oh how I love sentient inanimate objects. This one seems to have a bit of humor. I love it!
    5. Those dirty portraits...hehehe.
    6. The blasted cow in the beginning. Hilarious.

I'll stop regaling you with your achievements now :), and I promise to review after every chappie. Now I'm off to add you to my LJ.

Can't wait to see what's up next!

*drool* Uh...yeah, that was intense and steamy and just delicious, really.
I missed reading this SOOOO much! Can't wait until our next lemon BUT also I am looking forward to getting closer and closer to learning the identity of the blackmailer and finding out how that is all tied to the future, etc. (I mean, I do care about things other than the smut...occasionally, anyway! LOL!)

So, I cannot believe it has been so long since I last read and reviewed this fic! It is shameful, really. My only excuse is that I have had family moving to the area and staying with us for like three weeks now while they looked for a place of their own. It has been....interesting...to say the least. But now, we have our house back to ourselves and I have time to finally indulge in your superb writing again!
I was cracking up at the naughty "paperweights" (oh Hermione!) and the women totally gawking at Lucius's endowment. I must admit that I would be as well. AND trying to figure out a way to like "accidentally" brush up against it! :-P

Complex, yes. I'd say that's what Lucius had about the whole situation - a complex! Hermione really talked him down. You had me worried for a minute there. People are always hollering at me that I better not kill Lucius in my story and I was about to holler the same at you. Then you soothed me.

I am unreasonably worried about their return trip through the Veil. I want them to live Happily Ever After(tm). Something tells me it won't be such an easy go of it when they go back. OR, maybe the Veil will set things up just so for them as a thanks for playing guinea pig and fixing the world. I can hope.

Looking forward to seeing how it all resolves...

I love that Lucius and Hermione are just calmly eating dinner while Nesbitt is tied up. I can totally picture that.

I'm a little nervous about their idea with the Veil. I want them to figure out a way to make Nesbitt take the fall. But perhaps the Veil will figure it out for them.

The mention of them returning to their own time makes me a bit nervous; they are so happy here and things won't be the same when they go back, if they can. :(

Hm, so Uncle Malfoy had a conscience after all. I didn't see Nesbitt coming but it makes sense. Hermione was very sly, letting him do the 'villain thing' of laying out his entire plan and confessing everything before she pulled her second wand. Well done witch!

I have a feeling Lucius will be simultaneously amused and turned on by Hermione's conquest of Nesbitt. I'm glad I'm reviewing late because now I won't have to wait for what happens next!

Some stomachaches are more welcome than others and those from lemon pie are of that variety. Lucius's gift was so thoughtful and wonderful. I am surprised Hermione didn't use the L word in that situation. Now that I think on it, has she told Lucius that she loves him? I may just be experiencing a brain fart (entirely possible given the week I've had), but I don't think she has. Kind of unexpected that Lucius is the first one to go there, even if it IS while being sucked off, lol.

And he sure knows how to take a lady's mind off things! Hermione's martyr act was amusing and I liked Lucius's sternness. Very sexy and enjoyable. On to the next chapter...

Thank you so much. I don't know how I missed that. And yes, hopefully my lurker days are over. I can tell you how I became a lurker though. It starts solely because I start reading stories at midnight when I should be working on a paper, lol. Most of the time they are already complete and I just forgo reviewing. I'm working on it though, lol.

Can't wait for the next chapter :D

I love how Hermione managed to burst his martyred little bubble without getting him too angry. I believe they really are a good match. And I like how she told him that his penchant for a bit of pain could be put to better use.

This was a great chapter. I think that since they solved the problem they should be able to return to their own time. If they do return, I hope that they will stay married to each other and not let others try to break them apart.

um yes this was a complex chapter, but i think everybody who read the books can follow it easily. and i think it is brilliant that you considered the books in your fic.

Very intricate but explains alot. I loved it.
Hmm will Lucius and Hermione be taking a closer look at their relationship now??
Will the Veil send them back to their own time after it has been apeased??
