Reviews for Beyond the Veil -- COMPLETE

Okay, I will just start to review before I read, because I always forget what I want to say otherwise. But first; of coruse, that makes sence, I completly forgot about the war before they got into the Veil. Ah, well, thanks for reminding me! Now I will begin the reading...

"I asked you first" - yes, that always works ^^ Good Hermione. Naaw, Good answer, Lucius.

Hm... think if they are dead and they are just... dreaming or... Or... I'm not sure what "death" really means in this story. If they can't come back to their own time, they are, thecnically dead from that time, I mean... some people say that someone has died, but they still think they are living in some kind of heaven, and then they still live, but they are dead. Or something... death is a complicated thing. And I guess I won't find out about it until the end of this story when we find out if they are able to come back or not...

Oh, yes, why was Lucius in the Department of Mysterys that night? Hm... why do I get the feeling this is an important question?

Hm... I like their thinking about the Veil, a guardian of Magic... and the fact that everyone thinks they are married. Hermione will hear some jucie gossip once they get started to socialise with others... I'm just assuming they will get to know other people and that those people will have something interesting to say...

Haha, "The Veil's to-do list" That's just funny! And that's what I mean about "wordwitch" you come up with the most interesting sentences.

Hm... If you compear the Veil with Voldemort, it means that you (or Lucius) thinks about the Veil like a thinking object, because only thinking beings can be evil and good because it's only in the mind... so then the Veil has to have a mind... and if it's good or evil, that means it isn't a passive power... but if it's on the side of magic... ah, well, I will just contiune to read and see what I find out.

Oh, time travel is just so interesting so I just have to think about it, and when I think, I write, so since it is your story that made me think, you will just have to listen to me! Moahahah. Ah, well, another small question; All stories takes certian things for granted, like men have a penis and the sky is blue... things the author doesn't have to spell out... But does this story (I say story because I now that many writers doesn't believe in what they are writing, they just write because it's fun) thinks that time is a staight line who goes from one time to the next, of that time is a lake you can travel on... or... perhaps it doesn't matter because all Lucius and Hermione is about to do is to change time... and it wil affect whatever time-line-lake you believe in.... I don't make any sence, do I?

Hehe, Hermione, perhaps it's time for her to learn that men doesn't listen.. and even if they do, it's not sure they will understand what you say :P Hehe... but then again, some women are like that too :P
They will never have the same veiw when it comes to politic, will they? I think not.
Oh, Lucius... he really does everything to sound misjudged... well, I guess most men who have just lost a was are like that... how many more times will Hermione have to say that she doesn't think he is evil! And speaking about that Buckbeak, there are a really good animation about Narcissas and Lucius reaction on deviantart . com by a woman named makani, check it out if you haven't already. they are very funny!

Hm... if Lucius where Mary Poppins, I wouldn't read this story, so thank heavens.

Haha! "every... every night?" Hermione is so cute and innocent. She must quite a treat for a tiger like Lucius :)

Yes, Hermione really starts to sound like a conspiracy theorist... It's not like they could have the imagination to think they were just the puppets of the Veil... When you start to think about it, I guess it's hard to see what's the Veils doing and what's your own imagination... But then we could just start to think about where "imagination" comes from... Who knowes, perhaps it's like in those cartoons like "Moon Dreamers" where the dreams are sent to us from the moon... But I won't go into that conversation now...

So, great chapter anyway, I like the once where they talk a lot! They are always the most interesting! And I think you are good at finding the diffrent words the people use. Like, Lucius would never say something like "wicked" or "OMG"... since... I don't think Lucius believes in God... ah, well, I hope you can undestand this review. I am quite bored, so I just felt like analyze this story a little.. perhaps it was a mission doomed to fail before you have read the complet story... ahd, well...
    take care!

"Her unexpected and totally backhanded encomium made him feel a little better, blunting his incipient choler."

... have I told you I love you lately? That sentence made me so happy I read it three times in a row just to smile at it properly before I moved on. :)

I really enjoyed this chapter!! I also reread the last chapter and I enjoyed it much more the second time. I think I was just not in the mood for it at the time. I agree with your interpretation of the chapter. They really haven't had much of a chance to get to know each other very well. Keep the great work!

Intriguing, original plot! Yes, time-travel plots are tricky, as I well know. Can't wait to see where you are going with this because I have absolutely no idea!

Could I borrow your Lucius for the weekend? >.

They could be creating the paradox to save the wizarding world? Interesting (and a big responsibility). I look forward to more. Thanks for the update.

Lucius is confused and horny. And honestly, I love that he was offended by Hermione's assessment of his past. The fact that his past was checkered is something he seems to have forgotten. Or he doesn't want his new wife to have that opinion of him. That is amusing. I wonder if Lucius is going to find something out about the Veil's intentions while he is at work.

    Whew!

All caught up! (Or at least I will be by the end of this review...)

Chapter 23 was smokin' hot! I think it was even hotter because we had to wait for it. Not that I would want to wait that long again...I'm quite eager to read all about the erotic-paintings escapades.

Apologies for the bad correction. I'm usually fairly careful but my eyes must have been playing tricks on me. Wow...I just went to reread the sentence. What was I thinking?! Your sentence is just fine. I must have somehow not seen the "something"...how embarassing.

    ok...on to chapter 25

I have to admit, I'm of two minds about their situation. Lucius, as adorable as he is, is still the consummate manipulator. Hermione is all about the rules. I'm wondering if they will play off each other well, or if those traits will cause problems. I like that you are raising these questions. It means that you are doing your job well.

I still want to see the pictures. Are they like a Roccoco Kama Sutra, or more like wizarding Hustler. If the decor of the bedroom is any indicator, my vote is for Hustler. Could Larry Flint actually be a wizard? Hmm...

oooh.. I have often wondered over the course of this if the only reason these two got together was because of the Veil and it would appear that they are just as confused as I am! And I love how it seems that every conversation is going back to sex... He loves sex and we love him, so bring it on! lol But why was he in the Department of Mysteries that day? Why was he in the Ministry? I am sure we will find out eventually, but do we want to know? Was he stalking her? Trying to figure out a way even then to break her of her celebate ways??? lol Conniving little Slytherin he is, I wouldn't doubt it for a minute.. hehehe
