A girl has to have her priorities...books first. My curiosity about the readiness of this time has me checking every day for an update. You twist a tale like nobody's business.

CLIFFIE!!!!! You are a cruel person, you! I wonder where the Malfoy house is? Is it somewhere Hermione has been before? Ooooh! Don't make us wait too long...I have high blood pressure, you see, and it just climbs when you don't post soon. I'm only joking...but I am enraptured by your story, and each review makes it feel like my birthday! Update soon!!

Another great chapter. I look forward to reading more. I think that Lucius should be the true heir to the Malfoy fortune. Maybe it was meant to happen by going through the veil.

My hair doesn't play by anyone's rules without a full can of hairspray - so I leave it be. Chemicals are not my bag. And thanks for clearing up the circles of Hell thingy, its a long time since that snip of info was needed (I think it was a pub quiz and I just randomly knew the info about the innermost level because it had been referred to in another book).

*snort* his sense of decoration a bit skewed (LOVE that word) after Azkaban? Nah... he just doesn't want to tell her that he knows exactly what's in vogue at the time! lol!

he he! It demeans the whole artistry of the multi-faceted intimacy of good sex. you can tell she rubbed that numbing potion into his naughty bits, those are VERY long words for an aroused bloke! lol!

Oooh, the cone and 2 scoops is just baaaaaaaaaaad, LaBib! lol. *cringe*

Is Slytherin Sin different to sin in the other houses? Or is it just a case that the (trouser) snakes do it better?

Ah! Lucius has some blood in his brain that isn't attempting to defy the numbing potion! He likes her interest, but knows that interest might just go and play with the fairies at any point. Does he understand what happened in her past? I know he's a very sexual, sensual man - but he's dealing with a frightened rabbit in headlights in Hermione... when was the last time Lucius handled something so innocent? (Well, innocent in the sense she's not up to his callibre)

Has Lucius thought to transfigure her a wedding ring to back up what everyone else is saying? Or is it not a magical thing? Its also nice to see people referring to Hermione as his lovely wife - weather it be just manners or truth, it's going to give her a bit more of a confidence boost... though claiming the Malfoy sir name was probably more tongue in cheek on her part, though will that make the legal papers void because they aren't married?? *and now I'm confused*

Position and responsibilities... see pages of Kama Sutra and repeat until shagged out? lol. I don't think the lawyer meant that though! lol.

What about the REAL heirs? Are they going to meet with an 'unfortunate' accident? (Oh, and geriactric Lu would be funny! I got half way over the hill, someone has to get old Lu!)

and all the above was said later... maybe I shouldn't review as I read?? I just repeat myself... :(

Thing is, society won't see her as anything other than a pureblood... if her manners and backstabbing are top notch then the world will be none the wiser!

Kitten... makes her sound cute and non-dangerous. And him saying it sleepily will probably get back to the social circle through Mr. Blott. Especially as he spent three hours letting her run around the books! Society will pronounce him whipped. (Or whatever the term may be at the time! lol)

Hermione and I are kindered spirits! 'Not now darling, I'm reading' is more common than not now, I have a headache! lol! my other half is practically a bibliophobe and leaves me to it (or at least until the end of the chapter).

Another smashing chapter. 11/10 for it.

Of course the arrogance will come creeping back. But that's why he has Hermione....to take him down a peg or two when he gets a wee bit too big for his britches. Okay, that just sparked some naughty thoughts....lol. So Lucius is basically trapping her into being his wife in the magical world....so unless Hermione decides to forsake magic and live with muggles....she's a Malfoy. Great great update! I can't wait for more! Hope you update again soon!!

So they're going to have a palatial mansion to live in now, eh? Lovely funny chapter - I liked Hermione's distracting thoughts about ice-cream, leading to lots of hilarious innuendo, and Lucius saying that to compare his sexual technique with 'boinking' was like calling the pyramids a pile of rocks. Ha ha, he certainly has all the lines.

Where to start; I guess it is no surprise that a wizard whose Patronus is a peacock would take such fastidious care over his and Hermione's appearance. He is a gorgeous fussy bugger. The recognition that Lucius was a Malfoy and apparently a possible new heir is quite a twist. Has he taken the place of one of his ancestors or has he just been mistaken for one? Hermione's attitude is certainly ambivalent. She does not want to play the part as Lucius's wife, but she also doesn't want him running off with other women. She doesn't take his non verbal messages well, as she asks the questions that are on her mind while Lucius stands by fuming. They are both so strong willed and each wants to lead, although it is clear that Lucius is more capable to lead in this environment. Their interactions are very amusing and full of the famous U.R.S.T. As I mentioned in LJ, the episode in the room at the Leaky Cauldron was brilliant. Jean.

Brilliant beyond brilliant! I *LOVED* when Hermione used the ointment to...calm... Lucius... And how interesting that the shopkeeper (chemist?) knew Lucius as a Malfoy! (not that there is any denying it when you look at him.. lol) I love how you have written him; he really is conceited and cocky at all times. Fabulous! but my questions would be either 1) is he possibly his own descendent or 2) is this an alternate reality created by the veil to cater to the needs of those who passed through??? And I would LOVE to see Hermione get the upper hand a little more often. Perhaps in the bedroom? muwahaahaha

Great story! I can't wait to read the rest!

That was excellent revenge by Hermione. And I like that Lucius feels a bit guilty about his behavior. Although, I'm still fascinated by the fact that Gringotts sent out news that the new Malfoy heir was coming. Are they going to cross paths or were they replaced? I actually think this build up will lead to some amazing sex.

Though, on the subject of hair, the back of mine (past about 5" grows crimped! Masses of 'perfect' little zig zags! Nobody's managed to explain that one yet.

He he! I love the hackney lack of suspension and a love of pot holes! Oh, their bottoms must be so sore by now!

Well, at least Lucius has learnt the error of his ways; and the clever cookie might just be able to put 2 and 2 together and realise that if he behaves that he won't end up in Azkaban!

Wizards and Witches have a long life span - is it possible for them to catch up with the 'future' - all be it as geriatrics? But in this time/universe/veil-thingy, if that's the case, will Lucius Malfoy be born, as well as Hermione??

Ah... so the current Malfoys (and by current I mean the future for Herms and Lu - and now I'm confused...) aren't direct heirs! So, I can see our Malfoy killing off the real heir and instating himself as master.

I thought the 7th level of Hell was all ice; and that the people in there are of the worst kind, trapped in the ice. As the ice causes pain they cry, the tears freeze and cause more pain, so they cry more. Isn't the book mentioned completely in verse? I can't remember.

I like a good romance novel, but I can keep a straight face while reading them, and if the covers aren't on show, nobody's the wiser! My other half can only tell (apparently) by my breathing! And quite happily lets me finish chapters so he can 'take advantage of the literature' lol.

I'm sure Hagrid's hut is quite nice...

    *giggle* Lucius

Aha, Lucius foiled by Hermione is a good Lucius. I can't wait to see how he retaliates. I was really touched by the scene when they first went into the Potions shop. I like how they keep misreading each other, but can still come to an understanding. I wonder what they will find at Malfoy manor, and why is everything set up for them to take over new lives? Interesting questions.

Well it's confirmed where Draco got his girlish tendencies of dress. LOL. I am liking Hermione and Lucius more and more. I feel like they're adapting each other's characteristics. Hermione's underhandedness and Lucius being somewhat more of a gentleman. The sexual tension is really stifling, all that sexual innuendo. Lucius obviously is ruled by his baser instincts. I think it's sort of good that he has Hermione with her voice of reason, though the same voice of reason is delaying the inevitable. I think the reason I was confused as to there being a Diagon Alley in the period the characters was because I kept thought that Diagon Alley was the modern magical shopping, and that it would be referred to something else some hundreds of years earlier.
