Well I hope Hermione sees him as hero. LOL. 'Cause the alcohol he had earlier made him less than observant.

Ah, the man of a 1000 faces storming to the rescue, a wee bit jealous, more than a little protective, and he doesn't really understand why yet, does the poor sod. I loved him robbing the Madame and paying her with her own money, too ironic. Now, will Hermione be grateful or gnashing her (his) ...

aahhh....so lucius is feeling guilty for leaving hermione. actually he was already feeling guilty before he noticed she was gone. can't wait to see what he does to make up for it. i love the fact that he is a very possessive man, hermione is his and thats it. although i wonder, is he aware of how possessive he is over her, or is he just reacting to the situation right now? looking forward to more...

This is a terrific turn for the tale to tell - Hermione in peril of her virtue, Lucius getting to show a little derring-do and, dare I say it, a caring side, plus endless opportunities to delve into the sordid realm of Regency-era brothels. I love it.

Some fantastic images in this chapter - Lucius' pantaloons being too tight to house a sneeze (does he share a tailor with Judge Turpin?) and the decor of the room looking as if it had bled on to a doily.

Nice historical touches with the people visiting Bedlam to poke the unfortunate inmates with sticks. I'd never heard the term 'blunt' before either.

Anyway I sense a row brewing between Lucius and Hermione - and then maybe something more? Heh. Keep up the good work.

"My Little Witch!" "My woman!" "My witch!"

Joy of joys, Lucius is feeling possessive. I do love the jealous type. The fact that Hermione was seen as a slut and thereby somewhat expendable to the landlady might irk everyone involved, and prove for some delicious developments. Thank goodness she hadn't been too maltreated. I was worried about that... I kept urging him on, wishing he'd hurry up. Altogether some terror and pain to accompany the kidnapping, and a healthy dose of humiliation when they prepared her. No lasting damage, no defilement, although certainly plenty to agonize over now that Lucius has decided to grow a conscience and become protective.

Wow! A taut, action-packed chapter. If Lucius felt guilty before I'm sure he feels twice as guilty now.

Poor Hermione. I wonder, though...how were they able to overpower her if she had her wand? Maybe she was asleep? Or are some of the people involved in this seedy operation magical, perhaps?

I thought Lucius forcing the old woman into signing over the house was a great move. It's almost second nature to him to act for his own benefit. Even half-drunk and nearly panicked over Hermione's abduction, he ties up all the loose ends and gains property and money in the process. It's so Lucius it hurts.

I really like your take-no-prisoners Lucius. He's quite sexy. I just wonder if all the magic he is doing is going to alert the magical authorities, and if the use of his real name on the deed (since they did not pick out aliases yet) could be problematic later. Hm.

The description of the room Hermione was kept in - the paroxysm of red and the bleeding doily - priceless.

Now I have to wait another week to see how this plays out? Oh, the cruelty!

ch 1-7 - I just found your new story - wow! Lucius and Hermione in Regency England. Well, they sure had gaming hells, gentlemen's clubs, horse racing, and other ways for Lucius to make money. Could he find the Malfoys of the time, assuming his family already had Malfoy Manor? I'm still hoping Lucius finds Hermione a better choice than a brothel. Thanks for this new story!

I loved your description of Hermione as a Hufflepuff. I laughed out loud. Good for Lucius, I hope he gets what he needs, (and of course, I get to read about it.) Hermione's reaction to his new black hair was very funny. I could just see her slapping him. Great job.

Another wonderful chapter! It seems both Lucius and Hermione are having a difficult time hiding their attraction to one another. Sexual tension is always entertaining... especially in your stories. I think it's time Lucius visited a brothel, I only hope he doesn't catch anything nasty (although that would be funny!) update soon and please allow Hermione to venture out against Lucius's wishes, I love it when he gets mad.

Unfortunately I can't leave a long review at the moment, but I have to say thank you. After the week I've had I really needed that (the chapter AND the pic). Now I can go fail my exam with a smirk on my face. :)

I liked how you compared the eventuality of Hermione using the connection charm to find Lucius to a dementor dating tinkerbell. That was hilarious. I am having so much trouble imagining Lucius with black hair, change it back please...lol.

Oh my goodness! That jpg was drool-worthy. And the gloves -- sweet goddess Nimue, it is always the gloves that do me in.

I am really enjoying this story. A very unique take on what happens to those who fall through the veil. I'm still a bit unclear on the forces taking over the Wizarding world that forced these two into this circumstance, but maybe I'm not reading it thoroughly enough.

another ace chapter. I loved them waking up together - poor Lucius, I think the temptation will be too much (well I'm hoping!) Although, Hermione might succumb soon as well. Totally looking forward to the next chapter.

onto that picture - wow! Isn't he just gorgeous? Those leather pants and gloves, the cane, those muscles and the dark mark - ooh! holy moly! I need a shower of the cool variety!
