I'm rereading the chapters today. I stayed up late to finish the first 11 that were posted. I like this story a lot, it's so sweet! Any way, I wanted to give you some specific feedback. I love the fact that Draco is suffering from depression. What a great idea. I don't think I've seen it in any other fanfics. Also, I thought it was such a sweet detail that both Hermione and Draco have keepsakes from their night together. Finally, I love how Draco learns about his daughter.

Lucius needs a reality check - and quickly, before he shoves Draco back into a depression! He's more worried that he's upset his Mother than the fact there is something wrong in the first place!

I loved how they were so calm, the time away has done well for Draco, he's so mature and thoughtful now - a credit to himself. Parenthood has done her some good too - even if it has turned her world upside down. If they can make a go of it, they'd make a wonderful little family... providing the various opponents don't stand in their way.

Harry is angry, but resigned that he's going to be uncle Harry, rather than Daddy.

Pink with sheep - reminds me of my dressing gown NOW - but its blue with sheep! See - great minds think alike, when it comes to Ovine clothing!

So, Harry's the one with the brain! But his possessive nature is rather frightening! Is he so desperate to have a real family and to belong? I hope he doesn't meddle in things to come - I thought he was better than that.

Lucius is an arse, isn't he. He's taking the 'stiff upper lip' too far - he's disappointed that Draco's showing emotion, yet he has never noticed that Draco was in a severe depression.

I loved that Draco wasn't the Slytherin Sex God and didn't know how to play Hermione's body like a violin! He was unsure, it was quick, it wasn't perfect, it was a bit of a fumble... and it was perfect!

I think his reaction to Ginny holding the baby was a tad cruel - even though it was probably said in sarcasm. Though, Ginny told him all he needed to know with very little information. And a quick look at hair and eyes confirmed it. Ginny is no simpleton - she'll put 2 and 2 together and work it out!

Well, those two forgot a contraceptive charm.

I can't believe Hermione's parents!! How could the first thing her Mother suggests is 'making an appointment'? How could they just lay into her and give her more reason to flee to Molly than stay with them! The Granger's couldn't have handled that worse if they'd tried! (smashing plot device!!!)

I love that Harry, Ron + the Weasleys have just taken her in, accepted her, and stopped asking questions when she wouldn't answer them.

So, Grace is a pretty combination of mum + dad, she's got gold hair and curls, with Draco's eyes (what's with eyes and wizards - Snape babies have black eyes, Malfoy babies are slate gray, Harry babies are emerald green... odd.) Harry's going to ruin that little girl, she'll be spoilt rotten with him wrapped firmly around her little finger!!

I love how Hermione has actually tried to tell Draco he's a father - she hasn't buried her head in the sand and hoped he'll never know. So sad she can't find him!

Draco's a psychological mess, and aware of the mess. Its unusual to see him so aware of himself (or lack of himself). Lucius and Narcissa are running for a while, taking Draco with them - and not telling him where they're going... that can't be positive for him - especially as he's come to the conclusion that he is who they molded him to be, and that they've effectively lied to him.

Hermione seems so lost - though I get the impression that once the Golden Trio vanquished Voldemort, that she doesn't have a role in society anymore; from the offset, Hermione has longed to belong (learning all she could so she fitted in; trying to be the best; crying because she had no friends) - and now she's just like everyone else.

So, the two became lovers and changed everything... I wonder how - but chapter 2 will probably tell me that!

I love this story. It's very sweet and it's not rushed. I also noticed that you just put it up yesterday and are up to 11 chapters. Great job! I have read a few of your stories before, and I have to say that this one and "Love Thy Enemy" have to be two of my favorites. I keep the latter bookmarked along with "Heat" to read whenever I want to over again. I can't wait to read the next update on this story though.

    Love this story...

Yeah, so what if Draco is a bit OOC - but that's what I love about it. And he's finally standing up to Lucius. I'm not usually a big Dramione shipper (still waiting on your story of my favorite werewolf *hint hint wink wink*)...but some stories with Draco and Hermione are just worth reading and this is just one of them. I also loved your other Dramione story - it was very cute.

    Hope you can update soon...

Happy girl am I!! I absolutely love your stories. I was looking at your profile and saw that you uploaded the first 11 chapters of this new story and I am soooo happy. It seems like this story is writing itself, it flows so easily from chapter to chapter. I really like your Draco in this story, he feels like such a lost soul at the beginning but after seeing his little girl, I completely understand your story title, as she is truly his "saving grace" as is Hermione. I also like that Narcissa has a backbone in this story...go Grandma Cissy!! And our Lucius, he is going to have to change his tune, as hard as that may be! But I feel that between our strong headed girl, Hermione and her beautiful daughter, Grace, that the both of them may also be Lucius' saving grace for him to connect finally to his son. Thanks for updating so fast and as always looking forward to more chapters.

Hoping everything is well with you and family! thanks again for your wonderful creative stories.
