Awww man o man o man what a full on chappie and I LOVED it! Girl you have talents in spades! I love after all the angst and dark magic love is what ended Voldemorts existence....yay for hearts!...lol

Please hurry with the next chappie1 I want to see how the Lucius/Hermione reunion goes and what Harry does with Marietta's info...if I were him I'd put on the invisibility cloak and cast a memory charm on here..lol!

Anyway well done girl keep it up!

BTW how long do you anticipate this fic being? I hope it goes on forever and ever and involves lots of babymaking and Harry and Ron being okay with Hermione being with Lucius.

Wow, what a powerful chapter. All the inner turmoil with Lucius was excellent. The image of him crawling on his hands and knees was very disconcerting. It's hard to imagine the Lucius we know as doing anything so weak. That image really struck a chord with me for some reason. And yay for Narcissa! Leave it to a woman to get the job done. LOL! I got so involved in this chapter I actually forgot about Hermione for a minute. *heehee*

    (Back to Chapter 25)

So there I was, thinking that Hermione's knickers were a damp squib or at best a red herring, and you sprung Marietta on us!

Though putting her curiosity before Lucius' privacy in running the DNA test does her no credit (was she merely curious, or was she already thinking of blackmail?), I don't blame her for being out to get Hermione. To carry the scars from Hermione's jinx for the rest of her life because she made a poor decision out of fear at the age of 15 or 16 is rather harsh, and it reflects poorly on Hermione that she didn't remove the jinx at the end of the war. If the Malfoys could be forgiven, Marietta surely could have been. Pity the wizarding world didn't have a Truth and Reconciliation process.

Or is the counterjinx merely a sincere remorse for her actions, so that the scars are the fault of Marietta's refusal to look clearly at herself? If that's the case, I look forward to some fireworks between Marietta and Hermione if Harry passes on the threat. Though to do that, he has to deal with the revelation of Hermione's relationship, and speak to her about it. I'm looking forward to seeing how that plays out.

Wow - that was a magnificent interlude. I never expected Voldemort's curse to take that form - fiendish indeed! And you did a marvelous job of portraying the confusion and keeping up the suspense by alternating the PoVs.

I'm doubly intrigued by 'Soif' now - did Draco really see Lucius at his Death Eaterish worst? Did Voldemort really drive him mad with anger in those former times? It would seem to absolve Lucius a little if he was not really in control of his actions back then. I tend to see him as being more deliberately cruel, but I await your interpretation with interest!

    "Typical men". LOL

What an amazing chapter! Of course Narcissa was my hero here! She was grand! And i have to know! Will Andy ever forgive her? Will she find peace of mind and love?

The exorcism spell was absolutely fantastic, and your idea of an haunted room ,the ghosts ,Voldemort's ..what should i call that, a ghost? another horcrux? just a dark spell? anyway, it was amazing!

Ooh, more drama! Our poor heroes, they just cannot catch a break. I'm excited to see how Harry handles the news that Hermione is shacking up with Lucius. And I hope Ron has a total breakdown, but that's my personal bias showing through.

I like the development you're giving Draco, it makes the whole family angle much more real. Poor Lucius and his Shacklebolt drama. What a prick.

Also, I love Smythe! He is such a classic character, he cracks me right up. Talking with his mouth full, indeed! Adorable.

    And I finally caught up!

    Life has been busy.

But I can't tell you how much I love this story, I could go on reading it forever. It's so well written and plotted that I can't explain. But back to the story.

So now the Malfoys are finding a somewhat peace with themselves, I like that you didn't make Narcissa out to be a bitch in this one. And that Lucius stood up against her offer for one last time.

And now he's cleared and in the free. Right?? But then you come with the little bitch Marietta! Can she hold a grudge or what. And if all she wants is the counterjinx, let her have it. But I feel like it's not just that easy?? And what would Harry think if he knew it was true??

Now, please post the 2nd part!!

Oooh, what a twist! I didn't see that one coming at all. I love it, though. Now Harry will have to come to terms with Hermione and Lucius in order to help her bring Marietta down. Excellent plot twist.

I loved the scene with Draco and Narcissa hugging Lucius after he got the letter clearing him. Almost like a normal loving family. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. LOL

Great bleeping turn at the end of Ch. 25. Your muse makes me so crazy! Well we knew that Hermione and Lucius were not going to get out of this WITHOUT being exposed. I hope they take the full frontal assault--expose themselves first and then take Ms. Edgecomb down for blackmail. It will be worth anything they have to endure. I'm glad it will be Harry that takes the news to Hermione. It's a good start! Cheers!

I have just read your story as is to the last updated chapter and I have to say that while I am not a fan of Herm/Luc stories, I have been sucked into this one head first!! It is original, classy, funny, thought provoking... everything that a well written work of fiction should be. I was very disappointed when I went to move on to the next chpater and found that there was none!! I am eagerly awaiting your next update!! And I hvae to say that I am enjoying the way that you have written Mr Malfoys personality. You have not altered him so much that he is nothing like he should be... you just added to him and also to Hermione. It would be interesting if there was a way for them to have babies..... and who says that it has to be conventional..... for them.....

Looking forward to your next update. Well done..
