I can sacrifice (or at least postpone) a few lemons in exchange for some amazing plot, so don't worry about that! I know your work is primarily plot-based, and I can definitely appreciate the work that goes into your story.

My favourite part about this new chapter was the insight we got into Lucius' time in Azkaban. My heart nearly broke for him (saying his son's name over and over like that) and it really helps show what prompted his change.

I am anxiously excited about Ron and Harry's foray into Hermione's secret! I'm sure she'll find that she can, indeed, have the best of both worlds, but until then....

    Beautiful update as always!

Kudos on making it reasonable for Hermione not to clear Lucius immediately, no matter how badly she (and the reader) wants (her) to. I loved Draco's anger on behalf of his father. Gives me great hope for their reconciliation. Why do I get the feeling that Ron and Harry are about to uncover a bombshell that Hermione won't be happy about? Why do I get the feeling I'm going to be counting the hours until you update again? Cracking good story moving along at a great pace and with so many nuances, layers and twists I'm left gasping. Brava

I just reread your story for the third time and I still love it.,and I just needed to review again to compliment you on your writing.,
I can't help myself., The first time I read this chapter I read "Patrick ... Writer of FIAM" and I was like huh., but now I read publisher (I read to hasty when I really want to know what's happening., hehe must be your wonderful story) and OMG can you write a suspenseful story or WHAT., I still love it., It's so amazing., the relationship between Hermione and Lucius is just soo..human., I do wonder what they arrested Lucius for., So curious., I hope you won't leave us hanging for too long cause this story is just way to enticing!

I just read 2 chapters since, I procrastinated with reading during christmas and the time before.. Shame on me. But OMG... He couldn't have "offed" his publisher. Where would that leave him? And besides, He's been with Hermione or Draco all the time! Hasn't he?

Still I liked it when he admitted he was inlove with her!
And poor Draco.. I really feel for him, but atleast he talks about what's bothering him. And Lucius comming with him. They both have alot to talk about! But Narcissa.. Thinks there is something wrong in going to see someone like that.. *shakes head*

Now get back with more soon so this ending will have and explanation. Who could have murdered him?

So good to have an update! I loved this new chapter, even if it didn't meet my lemony hopes! It's sad for Hermione to have Lucius taken away. I also loved the interaction between Draco and his dad, and then later with Narcissa; Draco's eyes are getting opened and hopefully he is able to move on from his troubled youth.

As always, cannot wait for more!

I hope you are feeling better soon! Oh, and just in case you keep track of your reviewers, this is Sapphire. I changed my name here to match my LJ account. =) I actually took a stab at writing something. ACK!

Anyway, what a cliffhanger! Why do the aurors think Lucius had anything to do with the murder? Do they know he's the writer of these books? Do they think he's just being a Death Eater? TELL ME!! LOL! Just kidding, I know you can't tell me, but I hope you don't make me wait too long to find out. =)

The therapy session was great. I'm glad Lucius told Draco the truth (well, as much of the truth as he needed to know). I think he handled it all pretty well, all things considered. And I loved the fact that he laughed when Draco hit him, and then Draco was holding back a smile. So wonderfully dysfunctional! I felt sorry for Draco, though, having realized such an ugly truth about his mother.

So Hermione lied to Harry. Crap. LOL! I was hoping she'd suck it up and get it over with and just tell him the truth. I understand why she didn't, but it's certainly not going to make it easier when he does find out. Because she's right, these things always have a way of coming out accidentally. I'm thinking she'll end up going to him and asking him to help Lucius. Then she'll feel that she has to tell him the truth.

    Another fabulous chapter!

    I...I...Oh...my...god...
    Must focus...
The therapy session with Draco was splendid. I really enjoyed the new side of Draco and the blowup they had. It was a touching and intense moment between the Malfoy men and I loved reading it.
But the end of this chapter... *shock* I wanted to scream. I wanted to rant and rave. I wanted to start crying. I am in complete and utter shock. I actually yelled "No!!!!" when I saw it was the end of the chapter. My husband thought I was going into labor. I was out of my chair yelling before I knew I had done it. I really hope that the next chapter comes sooner than the last one. I know it wasn't a long wait, but come on! YOU JUST HAD LUCIUS TAKEN AWAY BY AURORS!!!!!! You can not, I repeat, CAN NOT leave us hanging for long. I think I would have a mental break down. I apologize for the tantrum I threw a few chapters back. I really think this is much worse.
Now I must go lie down. I think I am going to faint. The shock... The horror...

    hehehehe

I've been reading your story over Christmas vacation, and I have been in love with it ever since the first chapter. I cannot believe how heart retching of a story you've told. Whenever it seems that things are looking bright for Hermione and Lucius, it gets dark. I have to tell you that I'm hoping for brighter ending for Hermione and Lucius, so please-- STOP TORTURING THEM!

Wow!! Wicked chapter, especially the unexpected cliffhanger! I'm guessing that Hermione's relationship with Lucius will have to come out in the open soon, to clear his name... :O Nooo~ their safe haven is no more!!
