Whoa. Wow. That was intense! Thanks for a spectacular update, worth every minute of the wait! So much jammed into one chapter - I'm totally impressed.

I suspect at the time you finish this and I'm finally able to read it all in one go, I MIGHT have some constructive criticism to share...

As it is, I'll just add another random 'thank you for the update' and go wallow in bliss your story invariably produces with each and every new chapter.

    Masterfully done, as always.

That was a truly emotionally rich chapter. I never thought you could give Lucius even more growth than he had already done, but you certainly pleasantly surprised me in that regard. It has always been quite the surprise with your work, since you never seem to go where I think you might. Thanks so much for such beautiful writing.
I really empathise with Draco, though I am not sure I would like him to end up with Marietta, though they surely have much in common, experience wise. I do hope they become good friends, though.
The end to this wonderful masterpiece seems near, and I eagerly await the next instalment and a dynamic ending to this story. Thank you very much.

Once again another thought provoking chapter and it looks like you are coming to the end of this masterpiece. I hope you can resist the urge to finish this story with a cosy, everybody finds love ending and go for, once again a thought provoking and strong finish, even if it means I have to shed a few tears.
In the past you posted new chapters at fairly regular intervals but this last one had a big gap. I hope you and your family are OK.

Another fabulous chapter! I'm assuming you're wrapping things up? Really well written. I wonder how everyone's going to react to the news of Hermione and Lucius being together! Though it's a pity it took so long. I have to admit I kind of lost my 'connection' to the story.

I can't imagine what it must take out of you to write this story. It is so emotionally complex. I am, as ever, squeeing with joy over the new chapter. This is an incredible story and I'm grateful that you decided to share it with us.

I am not sure what it is about your story, perhaps the amazing language, plot and quality of writing, but I have basically re-read this three times within the last two months (and I so seldom re-read anything). It just has that haunting quality which keeps drawing me back.
I have never shied from reading LM/HG, but your story has definitely converted me into a die-hard LM/HG shipper. Though I have yet to read most of the LM/HG fics out there, I think it is safe to say that yours is absolutely the best Redeemed!Lucius ever! I also find HTC to be your best work so far, though all your other WIP fics were amazing as well.
I really hope that you will complete this fic as the end seems near and it would be such a shame for such a glorious story and writing to be left without closure.
(I read with interest that Faim, Soif, Fou can also be more accurately translated as Hunger, Thirst and Crazy(?), and I have to say that I find this slightly modified translation more visceral and impart a certain rawness which fits your story beautifully, though Hungry, Thirsty and Crazy is as brilliant a title as it gets).
The title really captured how I feel about this story, hungry, thirsty and crazy for more, and going slightly crazy because it is as yet uncompleted.
I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to you for sharing such a gorgeous piece of writing with us. Thank you very much.

Am loving it so far except for one minor and one major point.

Minor - Graham Crackers in a British Hospital would be unlikely. "Crackers", if used at all, would refer to the salty little biscuits one has with cheese. Digestive Biscuits would be more likely, or a nice chocolate Penguin biscuit perhaps.

Major - There's something wrong with the chapter listings. I can't get it to go to chapter 31 and I desperately need to know what happens next!

(Side note - I noticed that you've stopped going into the details of the safe part of the sex, which I can understand, but when you missed that part the first time I thought they must have forgotten! Oh noes!)

So I have an amusing little story to tell, and it will only take a moment of your time. See, it starts many months ago when our protagonist happened across this story on Lumos. She was enticed by the title, 'Hungry Thirsty Crazy', and by the pairing, Lucius and Hermione. By the end of he first chapter there was no doubting the author's talent, the second chapter left her hooked and the third enthralled. Such prowess on the page, she'd never read anything like it. The characters were the perfect blend of their originals and that of the author's divining, the plot was addictive and it was the best Lucius Hermione pairing she'd come across. The story was bookmarked and added as a favorite to her tool bar for safe keeping and easy access. Every once in a while she'd check to see if another chapter had been added and if one was she's savor every addition. Patiently she waited. By the eighth chapter there was such evocation of pain and desperation, conflict and attraction, want, hate, empathy and so much more it seemed too good to be true. Then it stopped. There were no more updates. It seemed as if the author just stopped writing. Our protagonist was left with the slightest taste of a tease, a hint of things to come, and no more story. Weeks went by and she kept checking but soon the frequency of those hopeful visits to Lumos diminished. Weeks turned to months and still nothing. Then Months became an entire year and still nothing. The bookmark was removed, the link deleted from the favorite list and they forgot all about Faim, Tuscany and our beloved characters. But lo, the story had not given up on our hero. There as plain as day, a year and a half after the first chapter, 'Hungry Thirsty Crazy' in it's all of it's 30 Chapters of Glory on AFF.net. And so our reader and her story were united once again. What a happy ending to this tale.

I must admit I was so sad when I thought there would never be a chapter nine. Thank you for continuing this little misadventure. I must say you have such control over imagery and dialogue that it astounds me. Your use of the vow to convey internal monologue to your readers was particularly evocative and reveling, I was sad to see it go. The development of your plot is so smooth and fluid in it's natural progression it feels like every event happens in perfect sequence. Nothing is ever rushed or left under examined, everything has a place and a time. The wait was excruciatingly delicious even though the story was the one waiting for me in the end-

I'm curious to see what the reaction of the public will be if word gets out that it was, in fact, Lucius who wrote Faim. And when will we get to see more of Soif? Just who is the murderer? What part of Lucius' past has been erased from his mind? And I am curious what, if there is a third book, you will use for it's french title? Fou? 'Faim, Soif, Fou' does have a nice ring to it... All interesting questions that now, in time, can be answered. Thank you for writing.
