ARGH! Lucius will never give up, will he? That was such an evil cliffhanger! Well, I supposed since Harry is going to the Ministry to talk to Ron anyway, Ron will undoubtedly will excited and blabbed about the Ministry bringing down "the gay son-of-a-Death-Eater". Isn't Draco's apartment supposed to be a secret or did Lucius already knew about it's existence?
    Great chapter!
    update!

Damn Harry and his incessant doubts, I am glad Draco easily brushes off his concerns so naturally that he doesn't even realize he is doing such a thing.

I wish that Draco's constant suspicion wasn't a necessity but I find myself immensely relieved that Draco's mile-a-minute mind is just that. Harry has tried too many times to fool and distract Draco, to the point where I wonder how they will ever be able to form any sort of trust between them. I suppose if it does happen it will be a long time coming since Draco can't even believe that Harry isn't acting around him at this point.

Harry was so... different in this update. Vulnerable, open, although I don't think that was necessarily intentional, allowing Draco to see the emotions that lurked behind his eyes and through his easy actions for the nerves that they were. I think, subconsciously, his 'merciless voice' is forcing him to reveal more of himself. Very well done, there would have to be some cracks in the ice after such an intense conversation and you managed to show it without blatantly drawing attention to it.

I'm enjoying Draco's patience, he is incredibly wise to wait for Harry to share rather than force it from him. And I am still amazed when they show any intimacy, somehow it seems that they are so far from that place and, yet, at the same time, it seems as if they should have been there and past ages ago. I wonder if our boys are ever just as confused?

The meeting will be at Harry's home? That seems foolhardy and very unlike 'cold Harry.' He strives so hard to keep all the aspects of his life separate, I suppose this is the overt manifestation of him incorporating Draco into his life, to a certain extent of course, and becoming the "we" Draco mentioned. He is involving himself in this rebellion whether he intends to or not by inviting it's members into his home, and I think it will be a necessary and eye-opening experience for him. I am hoping Draco's arrest will force Harry's hand and he will intentionally join his movement and perhaps even put his name and face behind it... Wishful thinking, I'm sure. I can't wait to see where you take that. Thank you for sharing! Update stupendously soon!

Oi.. now the odds are upped once again, I already wondered when they were going to dig out and old law stating homosexuality as illegal (no doubt that there was one, there's one for ANY such things...) and how Draco will react to that. Anyway I like the conversation they had and how Draco managed to throw Harry off with his reactions every time without even really meaning to *g* I think Harry doesn't really grasp the underlying problem himself at this point.. should be very funny when he finds out!

OH NO! Not flagrant displays of homosexuality! Whatever will we do?!

Rules like that are stupid. I'm sure Harry wont let it stick. Right?

Hmm. Harry needs to stop talking to himself....it's out of the box now. LOL! But I suppose when you do something for years, it's not going to go away, in fact it may be in his hardwiring now. I wonder how Draco will navigate around that as their relationship deepens, will he develop his own personas to deal with the many facets of Harry's? Has the makings of a dysfunctional and unhealthy relationship for Draco especially, and the potential for Harry's first healthy and authentic relationship in a long while. How to strike a balance so that they both get what they deserve, need, and want. It'll be interesting to see how you arrive at that, or if it happens at all. I love how perceptive your Draco is in this story...he really hits the nail on the head 9 times out of 10, which doesn't leave room for Harry to bullshit. I still want that Pensieve thing destroyed! I'm glad that Harry admits he's not ready to "come out" but he's committed to doing it in the future, enough to say it out loud. That's a huge step forward. Not sure I like the idea of Harry's home being a meeting place, glamours, disguises, wards, or whatever, he's still Harry Potter, and these Aurors, and Lucius and his group sound vicious. It won't make coming out any easier, and it will essentially make him a prisoner in his home when he does decide he's ready to "come out" and be the real Harry Potter on Draco's arm. But I guess it can be seen either way because it would also be his first real invitation to other people to come into his dwelling, which requires a level of openness he hasn't been able to achieve up to now. As far as Draco getting arrested, it's really jacked up, and I hope that this is enough to push Harry out to putting his full weight and name behind the movement and Draco. Sometimes crisis is great for forcing us to take brave new steps that can not only positively impact others, but change our lives for the better. See, you got me acting all reflective again...this story keeps doing that....you're bloody brilliant. Do you write professionally? I hope you're considering it. GREAT update...can't wait to see what developments Draco's arrest will bring.

    Lady,

This story is a psychological thriller in line with the spookiness of the only Dean Koontz book I read. It was all backwards and forwards. I never knew what was really going on until the end. I stayed up for a 24,36 or 48 hour bender reading that book.

Here, I am wondering who is Harry Potter? How is HP going to work through all his personas and faces he deems suited to the world? How will Draco even begin to work through this mess leaving HP his dignity and gaining the lifetime companionship he yearns to have?

I pray you luck in completing this thrilling ride of HP angst. I know I haven't been able to tackle half those complexities in my own life. I will be tickled to know how this fictional character works through the ambiguity, shifting realities, and disappointing loved ones' environment to find himself and his purpose.

Well, I would have found it hard to forgive Harry for turning away from Draco in a way that would hurt him, or for obliviating him. Had he done that, he would have placed his own cosy pretense above Draco

    wow.......oh..wow....
I managed to read all 25 chapters in one ( prolonged and coffee induced) sitting. This is one of the most richly worded and visually delightful stories I've had the pleasure of reading in ages.

    thanks!
