I've been reading regularly and I just wanted, in lieu of anything critical to say on your masterpiece, that I love how mature and PLOTFUL this story is! This latest interaction is a great example; I love the dynamic between Draco and Harry but even more I like how the confrontation with Ron and Hermione was so calculated and in character. It wasn't just four characters throwing their feelings out and some resolution magically appearing, there was definitely a structure and an adult yet passionate feeling underneath. Even when your characters are emotional, they're still so *sane*! I like reading about people who think.
Thank you so much and keep this up!

Well-handed confrontation. I liked the idea of Harry testing them first before accepting back into the fold.
I think the next chapter is going to be your last one (hopefully not but...) so I just wanted to say that this has been one of the best (and most definitely original) stories that I've read in a while. I loved all the twists and turns, the quick thinking done by both Draco and Harry, all the political maneuvering, everything!
    Well-written!

That was very interesting. I wasn't expecting that sort of confrontation..and I definitely wasn't expecting Harry to be so calculating and cold. He handled himself well. I can't believe he gave both of them tests. Both tests were appropriate and I was really surprised to hear Ron say that he was being irrational. That was a huge step that not too many people can make. In fact, Ron's dialogue throughout this whole chapter, even when he was being an ignorant homophobic arse, was really way more articulate than he's usually painted. He's finally grown up it seems, and I'm glad that Harry has the strength, patience, and love to bear a friend that has so far to go in accepting who he is. I hope Ron understands how much of a burden it is to bear a friendship like this from someone who is marginalized. Probably not..lol. I'm glad Harry called Hermione on her shit, and I'm so glad she sees she almost ended up destroying him. Draco cracked me up in this chapter. His sigh at the end when he realized he wouldn't play a role in punishing them was funny as hell. I like that despite his love and willingness to sacrifice for Harry, his old traits still pop up. He needs me>/i> LOL. Awesome. I can't believe there's only one chapter left. This has truly been a joy to read and I look forward to it, what's gonna fill the void every 3 days when you used to update? AWESOME confrontation and update...looking forward to seeing how you conclude this brilliant masterpiece of yours. : )

Oh My!!! Lucius recognizing Harry's loyalty and committment as an asset threw me off guard as well! Was he being sincere? What an intense conversation!!! I'm glad you didn't make either one unbelievable or concede to fast. I love that Narcissa has been working on Lucius, I do hope Draco and Harry recognize and appreciate her efforts. Harry's coming across as a bit of an ass to be honest, but I kinda understand why he was so hostile in his threats and actions....threatening to kill someone's husband and father is serious though. He had to know Lucius would never kill his son but then again, he was willing to enslave him. Still harsh though. I'm glad it didn't come to that. We'll see if Lucius lives up to his bargain....speaking of which, why 5 years? What then..lol. I thought that was hilarious! I'm so worried about this next chapter with Ron and Hermione...Harry needs his friends too and they need him to grow, I hope there is reconciliation here. GREAT update, glad I'm all caught up now : )))

@47. Wow, what a complicated strategy...thank goodness it worked! I was worried that perhaps they had left a gaping loophole for a minute there. Harry is so devious and clever. I understand where Draco is coming from, but I think he needs to learn that he can't always be in control as well. This is what Harry does, he should have more trust in him...but I also understand why he would have fear about that, so, it is what it is. Draco's right, Harry's good with words..but he's getting better with his actions. I think Draco's words to Harry were a bit harsh, but if Harry understands and accepts them, then all is well. I'm worried about Therris myself....and LOL@ Nusante, I can't wait to hear how the guilt spell kicked in...I'll relish every minute of it. Still worried about this rebellion though, I guess I'll be happy when I see it's outcomes. a really action packed and intriguing chapter to say the least!

Huh... Lucius was actually quite... nice, how odd. Well let's see how Harry deals with Ron and Hermione and what they want to spring on him now..

PS: If you take up the Highland-Saga, prepare to spent quite some time with it... it's six volumes of roughly about 5000 pages all in all... so maybe take it to a vacation on a deserted island or something *g*

Nice one, especially since Draco's parents while generally a united front still have differences that distinguish them as indivduals fully capable of expressing their own points of view quite decisively. Harry was very wise to relieve Malfoy Sr. of his wand, and remind him not to act rashly or face the consequences. It would seem that while both of Draco's parents care for their son deeply they must learn when it is time to let go too. Part of growing up is striking out on your own, and knowing you achieved a great measure of satisfaction in doing it alone. Having Harry at his side only sweetens the rewards that Draco has gained. Now let's see just which direction you'll go with this little gem next. I'll try to be patient because you always give your best. So don't stop now, and please continue!

Why would you leave it at such a crazy cliffhanger??! Ack! I SO want to know what Hermione and Ron has to say now. Let's hope that Kingsley was right in his letter about Ron's face being pale when Kingsley told Ron that the orders weren't from the Ministry. Maybe then Ron will actually realize that Harry is in control. And Hermione... argh... I know she's trying to be a good friend but Harry is too complex for her to understand why Harry does the things he does.
Wow, Lucius actually backed down... *applauds* for 5 years though. *sighs* Oh well. Can't have everything. I'm surprised that Lucius actually complemented Harry.
    Great chapter!

Well, they succeeded in their plan as well as forwarding their relationship quite a bit. Alas, we're making mile-long steps towards the end, which is sad but also exhilarating at the same time!! And I advise you to have a look into the Highland saga, you will certainly like John!!

I continue to be enchanted and amazed by the way you portray all your characters. This is one of the few stories that I constantly keep checking on a daily basis, it is just that good. Harry and Draco make a rather formidible combination that both are finally starting to realize and utilize as they sort out their priorities with one another. Thanks for the answer to Lucius, but then again he still has issues with his own life doesn't he? Well I guess I'll have to wait for your next chapter to see where you go with this juicy tale of yours. So here's to you kid, and please continue!

Oh Goody! Lol. Well this was quite an eventful chapter. It was a very well orchestrated plan that was wonderfully executed with lots of interesting twists and turns. Glad their plan was a success, and that spell to make them switch, genius. I'm glad that Harry is being more trusting of Draco as well as more honest with him, that will help their relationship for the better, in the long run. ^_^
