When Sev questioned Harry's plea for punishment, I finally saw some actual caring. Before it seemed like sadistic pleasure on Sev's part, which isn't all bad.... but I did feel bad for Harry to some extent. I hope they get to figure things out together.

Well that didn't take long. I half-expected Harry to be bull-headed and stay away for at least a little while longer. Although Severus DID go through (and still is going through) hell.
    Good chapter.

EXCELLENT chapter. The redemption feels do real. Snape's regret is palpable, as well as his need for Harry's forgiveness (even if he only thinks he'll get understanding. Well done. Can't wait for the next chapter. You update so rapidly and for that you have my commitment to see the story through...

I still can't believe this was Severus' secret. It explains a lot though.. Anyway, I love the story. You've created passion, hatred, angst in each character. You've created forgiveness, despair and love. Absolutely beautiful, that are my final words. One more though, keep up the great work and update soon!

Um, wow, that's all I have to say...what Snape did makes total sense...and I suppose Voldemort was pleased rather than pissed when he found out what Snape had done to Harry later? This revelation and Harry's forgiveness is going to cement their relationship...I don't even think Harry needed to take potion for this to happen, but I'm sure that it will make it only that much stronger. Now I'm a bit worried about the Willow thing.....please tell us what it is..it's killing me, lol.!

Oh, I'm so glad. I know they still have things to work out, but even putting the possibility of Harry's death as a result of straining the bond aside, the pull between the two of them is just too intense to keep them apart. Or so it seems to me. The last line is--as intended, I'm sure--immensely powerful. It shows that Harry is recognizing and voicing his acceptance of the bond. I was a bit worried that the dynamic would change and the power would shift, despite the bond, because of Severus' breakdown. Maybe it still will. Then again, with the bond's influence over Harry, I doubt he would be able to consciously hold that over Severus's head. It's late, I'm not sure I'm making any sense anymore. What it all comes down to: can't wait for the next chapter.

whoa...Snape telling Dumbledore to go fuck himself was quite unexpected yet it fits so well considering the humiliation Snape had to endure and Dumbledore's obvious liking of Potter. It's interesting he warned Snape about Lucius before....I wonder what that day dream was about with James at the end....it's so frustrating that Snape and Harry are prepared to die because of something that can't be changed or taken back..I hope they find each other soon.

@26. Interesting development, running into the Divinations teacher drinking in a bar. LOL. Harry seems resigned to death but I'm not buying it...he has to be misinterpreting the prophecy just like he did in canon right? Oh where is Snape? At least he understands his father was a git : p
