Chapter 16: Those two never seem to have any relaxed moments together. Snape is running ragged with his spying and now his forced fornicating, and poor Trudy has to cope with the spell. I do hope she learns some useful magic and is actually capable of carrying it out.

I loved the first half of the chapter, but hated the second. 'He Who I Find Most Tedious & Tiresome' ruins the chapter, the violence the Tedious One commits and the violence her encourages from Dolohov and Yaxley against Snape are too excessive. The violence that Snape forces himself to commit on Trudy to try to keep her safe is an oxymoron at best and far beyond anything that was called for.

I agree with what La Bib said quite a while back: "Frankly I don

I find it interesting that Severus, an outcast himself, would be so adamant that she not be treated as one. I think he has finally found someone to whom he can be the man he should have been from childhood. In it's own twisted way, it's actually kind of romantic. And Ollivander is a racist twit.

The only words I can find to say about this chapter is Gods, I'm so envious. Not only do I envy Trudy for that experience, I envy both of them for their stamina and vigor.

I really love your story! It was one of the first I ever read when I first came to this site. I can't wait for the next instalment, I keep wondering what will come next, how you keep adding twists to her life and history. A well written piece.

I've been away for Christmas and got home last night and found your reminder. I tried to review last night, but something truly stupid called 'Hairy Twatter' had hijacked the Potter Het/OC Male-Female list and I couldn't log on, so here goes. I really liked this chapter because he has finally confessed to her that he feels something more for her than just sexual desire. We all knew he did, but it's so nice to see him acknowledge it and confess it to her.

I guess she will get her wooden wand from Ollivander's in the next chapter, the wand she got in this one was of the fleshly variety.

It's official - your Snape is the sexiest man in the universe. Wow.

I loved their conversation in the infirmary; they said such a lot in just a few phrases. I'm so glad the Lily-coloured scales have fallen from his eyes.

Thanks for this, and Merry Christmas, Inky!

Oh, so there is a magical capacity after all - very hard luck for her, being immune to the contraceptive potion. She's remarkably calm about the miscarriage. So how are they going to go on now, if she's liable to fall pregnant? Will Sev have to use a condom? He won't like that, I reckon.

    Intriguing as ever.

I hope this upset doesn't keep them distanced for too long, they both desperately need the comfort they give each other so very much and that pregnancy just wasn't meant to be. Their relationship had become something more than physical before her Wanderer genes took over and she got so involved in devouring the knowledge in that book or about what other people thought about them; he's really worried about her reputation at Hogwarts no matter what he told Poppy.

He cares for her much more than just as a bed partner, if he didn't, he wouldn't have worried about her and how her health seemed to be deteriorating. He should tell her that, he knows it even if he won't admit it to anybody. If Poppy is as smart as I think she is she will figure it out quickly. If she does I hope she has a talk with Trudy and tells her. I already know that Trudy knows how she feels about him.
