Uh-oh. If I were Hermione I'd blame it on an irrational fear that Malfoy had been the one to capture her. Yep. That's what I'd do. That or pass out from fright. But then again. Fenrir really wants a pack. He's not going to risk losing the "cubs" by beating on her. Anyway....more please! This is too good to wait! lol

wow, that is awesome, I like how you paint the werewolf with the lupine traits. Sometimes I see certain animal characteristics in humans and although never as obvious as with the werewolf, it is still very cool to see them exaggerated.

Every time I log in and see a new update on this story, it cheers me up, because it's such a good and intriguing read into a highly dysfunctional and dark match.

This is amazing. This is by far one of the top five (likely top three. Or two.) Fenrir/Hermione stories I have ever read. I've been trying to analyze my fondness for this pairing, and I've decided it is likely an extension of my X-men movieverse!Wolverine/Rogue shipping. Hmm.

I think one thing that is awesome is that Fenrir's thought processes are distinctly primal here. Even in DH, he's shown as completely violent and feral and, well, evil; here, he has the advantages of human language, observation, and logic to support his completely instinctual behaviors. It's not about right and wrong; it's about mating and offspring and his needs, and human notions like ethics don't really apply. Where Hermione sees rape, Fenrir the Wolf would see the natural way of things (This is true in nature. David Attenborough showed me whales with big penises forcing a female to mate. It was upsetting, but real).

I like it. Some people might say that it's a deviation from canon!Fenrir, but I'm inclined to accept the hypothesis that honorary-DE!Fenrir, in the company of sadists and murderers and humans without the excuse of the wolf to create a bloodlust, may have been influenced by his company at the time. Not that they "peer-pressured" him into it, but that certain tendencies were accepted and encouraged in that social group, and that, in the time since Voldie bit the big one, Fenrir's more rage-based behaviors might have abated. Or something. I'm mostly thinking about turning children, of course. It's just that humans really are the only species that kills its own for reasons other than survival, and... Yeah. My brain has once again led me into "I don't agree with JKR" territory. It does that often, because I don't agree with JKR about much, other than that Hermione is awesome and Severus is a hero and there was probably no way to get rid of Voldie but to kill him.

There are a couple of things I'm wondering about. I'm assuming that Fenrir didn't mate with Hermione that first time with a were-penis. (I can't go back and check if you were clear about that, because AFF is doing maintenance.) The reason I'm assuming this is because of that canine/lupine "knot" feature that shows up to ensure proper insemination. Makes me glad I'm not a female wolf. I also wonder about Fenrir's life since Volvo kicked it. Has he a pack to alpha or is he on his own, with Hermione's were-capture program. And what was happening to all those wolves they caught, anyway? (If you answered any/all of these questions in text, just direct me to the proper source, yeah? I'm not the best at reading-for-comprehension.)
