I freaking loved this story! It's bloody brilliant, the perfect mix of humour, angst, darkness, and everything else. I read it from start to finish, the only times I stopped was when I had to sleep, eat and do my course work. This story provided me with a great escape outlet from reality. I do so enjoy reading and this story is a fine example. This story is definitely going on my recommended reading list. I look forward to reading more stories by you, DragonFyre. Thanks :)

I love what you managed to do with Bellatrix! Normally I love to hate her, but you brought her around to the "light" while keeping her delightfully entertaining madness. I'm glad you worked in something with the Lestranges and Neville though; it was bothering me for the longest time that nothing was said or done about that.

As much as I liked Ruby as an OoC I wasn't as keen on the way she ended up overshadowing the canon characters. She wasn't very balanced... in RPG terms she had too many advantages to disadvantages.

I especially loved how you brought Sirius back from through the Veil and his changes because of the experience. Honestly... I would have liked to have seen more on that.

All in all a really great read. There were so many funny lines. I think my favorite though was Bella and Roddy thinking about how they were raised by house elves and turned out fine... but realizing they HAD NOT then deciding they didn't want that for their little ones. Very sweet and telling on their change.

Even with an "evil" Bella I find Rita Skeeter to be the more terrible female because she pretends to be "good" but is in essence a vile, lying gossip. I'm so glad she got her just rewards.

    Thanks for writing.

SO, I have been following your other story, Just around the Riverbend and decided to check out this story as well. This is a MAGNIFICENT fanfic, I really enjoyed myself, and I couldn't stop reading, I've been going to bed at obscene hours, trying to get as much reading done as possible!! Anyways,I want to read more of your stories but I dont know which ones are completed,so i would LOVE it if, when you update Just around the Riverbend, you could add a little note at the top listing your completed stories. Thanks a bunch.

Okay I have to say that the idea of Bellatrix watching Spongebob Squarepants cracked me up BIG time. The whole television thing for Wizards is hilarious, and I could so see her having those reactions to the show. LOL.

as you know i have already read this story, but this week has been slow on stories updating so i decided to re-read it and i think i have come up with an idea for a possible sequil. if my memory serves me hermione never gets her parents back in this story so i think in a sequel she should try and get bella or one of the death eaters turned light to help and try to undo the memory charm on her parents and find out who did not want her to see her parents. but here is where the twist comes in, no one that would have known hermione sent her parents away and was not a friend would have just killed them so you could put in someone like ron being the one to do it because he for some reason didnt want her to get them back (secret pureblood supremacy or something like resentment towards hermione). i dont know what else it would consist of but i just think that would be a really interesting topic for a sequel because in the first one the thought of hermione's parents being unable to be retrieved just seem like an important feature to me when i was reading it and think it should be explored more because it could make some interesting twists and turns.
