Absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Killing Harry off would not have worked for me, or probably most of us. Thanks to you and SoftObsidian74 for the rest of the story and the ending. There is still enough left unsaid about Al to make us wonder, Severus and Harry are happy, the extended family is still there, it is a great ending.

From where they all began with pain and suffering, to determination and friendship, and finally family and love, whether what you had intended to write, it turned into a story that everyone should admire. Extremely well written characters, with full lives, strenths and flaws.

Few of us have had to suffer as much as your characters, but do go through anywhere from "normal" to extremely hard times of our own. It is good to read a story that depicts strong friendships, family, and determination. It reminds us to try for that happy ending, even if some of it is still unkown and is never going to be perfect or sometimes even work out at all. Such is life, it is never a complete happy ending, but the fight and determination to achieve the best you can is what keeps most of us going.

That said, it was just a hell of a good story, good sex, good fights, good agnst, good make up sessions, just really good!

Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to everything you write!

::standing ovation:: Well girly you did it. What a brilliant journey. I'm really impressed. I know there were a lot of ups and downs to get to this point and it's really inspiring to see you come through it looking rosy. I love what you did with it, and the last few sentences gives me a sense of peace and satisfaction like most endings can't....what a fucking ride. Thanks for not killing my baby. He deserves happiness just like Severus and I'm glad they found it together. I look forward to your next great masterpiece. (((())))

It has been a long and wonderful read. I have to admit that parts I didn't like...... Harry turning into Voldemort one of them, the way all the characters were marked by it. But I have to say that despite this. Or more likely because of this the story is great. Maybe it is because I as a reader have taken the journey with the story and to a degree felt what the people in the story felt desperately wishing for a happy outcome. Or maybe it is the way everyone in the story are so very human with their fears and wants and I as a reader want the best for them.
I am happy that you wrote book 2. If you had finished after book 1. It would have been too dark. And I like the journey they all took in book 2 to get back to a more normal life and towards eachother again. Finally, I am very happy that you didn't kill Harry.

Wow. That was a hell of a ride. I loved how you tied Dumbledore back in since he was, ultimately, the cause of this crazy adventure.
I am so happy for Severus! He finally found peace, both within and without.
Awesome story. You are a truly gifted writer!

Yes, that works - I mean, that Al is worried about what might be in his head. But the fact that he is worried is a very good sign in itself, of course, and a good guarantee that he won't turn dark.

Bows. I look forward to your new story as I am savoring the old. It was a long, strange journey, where Tom nearly won after all; but love did instead. *glows*

Oh, my, yes. Hermione is right. Anger turned outward can make a lot of noise; but anger turned inward can kill. And Snape has never been in a space safe enough for long enough to allow himself to mourn everything he's lost. I worried when I read he was giving up his home lab, as it was yet another sacrifice for someone else. But at least he'll have it _somewhere_.

And now he's gained so much. Harry stayed with him, when very few others would have, and now Severus realizes that Harry isn't using the slave bond against him, when he's never really been free of one before. Perfect trust _is_ freedom, and now both of them have it.

Oh, I'm so glad that Harry came back for Severus! Snape is likely to put the worst possible interpretation on things; how wonderful to know that something good is going to happen instead. Good chapter.

It was really phenomenal how you made Severus go through the process of grieving and angry at everything that has happened in his life.
    Great job!

its nice to know that Severus is now dealing with his issues and that ending of that chapter just made me go Oooh. It wasnt the classical sweet ending of a chapter that makes you feel fluffy inside but there was great meaning in when Severus said "Space, with you in it" that it was still sweet but not overly so

I can't believe this is almost over, what a really enthralling and adventurous ride you've given us. I'm glad that Hermione and Sev got to talk...she's right, he needs to process some things. He was kinda cute trying to piss Harry off and keep distance...I'm glad it didn't work. I love the last line in this chapter. You've done an excellent job with this tale, and I can't wait to see how you wrap it up : )

I keep missing your chapters... But I was able to hold some silly satisfaction that I guess right on what Severus guessed wrong at. lol

But I loved this latest chapter. It was really beautiful, their understanding with each other. That Harry didn't leave, and calmly waited was wonderful. I had completely forgot about the Unbreakable bond! And, although I never thought Harry broke his promise, I'm glad that Severus' insecurity about "Harry breaking his promises when he feels like doing so," is appeased.

Love it. Always good, always logical, never easily predictable.
I will miss this story when it's over, but it will be a welcome conclusion when one feels like they've been fighting for true resolution for years.
