    Hnnnn...
And here I was being so proud of you for moving on to bigger and better things!
Ah well... I can't really complain, I do love your stories. I've read most of them, and I can't exactly say that I don't want another.
I mean, even when I thought they might be getting a little repetitive I still read them (your smut, after all, is consistently fantastic and the rest, at least, is consistently well written). Though, I have to admit, I eventually had to start skipping the "Hermione, you should have sex with me for these, very logical seeming, reasons" Snape speech. After a few stories it got to be a little much.
And I'm not trying to say that you got unoriginal later on, if anything you got more original in your story lines, but I feel like your Hermione and Snape are always the same. Even when you write them differently, they're still the same. They all have a very... figgish flavor that you can't find anywhere else. And I'm not sure that's something you can escape. I think it's just you. I'm not sure how noticeable it would be (because all good authors have a distinctive style), except for that fact that you've kind of "saturated the market", as it were.
Please don't get me wrong, I do love your stories, but one can have too much of a good thing (and yes, I know I don't have to read them, obviously, but frankly, if it's you, I don't think I can help myself - unless it's a premise I dislike). I felt pretty good about your announcement that you were giving up SS/HG (at least for a time), and now that your back, I feel... I dunno... a little disappointed? Maybe I'd wanted the break to be a little longer?
It's just that, I know I've going to read your new stories, and I know they'll be original (as much as they can be), and I know I'll like them, but I also know they won't feel fresh, and that I won't love them as much as they deserved to be loved.
This is becoming very long and rambley (and I know no one else is going to agree with me, and some people might jump to your rescue to insult/argue with me), but you've gone through the trouble of actually making these big announcements, so I thought it'd be alright for me to make a response.
Obviously, you can do whatever you like, and obviously you'll have plenty of readers who love you for it, but I just felt like stating my opinion on the whole matter (which, frankly, I don't think I would have done if not for your big giant announcement and then counter-announcement).

I wonder what would have happened if you'd come back under a different penname? (though I suppose you couldn't exactly finish your other stories that way) How long would it have taken for us to figure it out? We would have suspected, certainly, but no one would have known. Now that would have been really interesting.

Ah, Miss Figg... I had a feeling you'd return. Though it's true you never really left. I've been keeping myself updated on your work. I was enjoying Dahlia/Artimus greatly. That excerpt you had about the golem was delicious, I was sad to see that you'd removed it. I was especially interested in the part about the "Shoop".

I ordered a few jade eggs the following week. ;)

I really liked the strength you gave Dahlia, physically and emotionally. Though I do enjoy male dominated scenarios, it's got to be balanced with respect and familiarity, not to mention reprisal from the female at some point. I loved the way she could hold her own sexually, and that she and Artimus would wrestle for dominance as a form of foreplay.

The man just throwing the female around without much prior relationship and her just eating it up squicks me, as I learned after reading a few other fics.

What I found really got me going, conversely, was when the female had more than one casual partner, and the lothario of choice decided he wanted more. I loved the pursuit. Well written possessiveness and jealousy actually gives me a tight pain in my chest, which I find can be relieved well enough by a talented man who

Oh my God!!! I"m sooooo happy you came back! Your stories are among the best in the SSHG fandom. I'm sure I am not the first to say that, but know that I actually lost many hours of sleep reading your fantastic stories. Thanks for all the energy you put into this ship. And good luck with your own novel. The story Heroes is a good idea to let us meet Artimus, Dahlia and Steede! (sorry if my english is bad, I'm French :P )

    I LOVE YOU.

Thank you for coming back XD Not that I havn't still been checking every day...That sounded a bit stalker-ish didn't it? I'm sorry. I'm not crazy, LOL. You're just an insanely good writer. And you keep the characters way more IN character than Rowling ever did -.- Man she could build a character, but her writing was crap :P

I'm rambling. It's the pregnancy and lack of sleep. Anyway...Yay! Stories! *dashes off into the darkness*
