Awww, so cute spending 'quiet time' together. I really liked the interaction between Ginny and Hermione, the characters are very believable. Keep up the great work!!

hahaha i never would have realized the pun if you didn't point it out. yayy i like this chapter! so they're both staying over winter holiday... interesting. i sense their relationship will grow while most of the school is away. i also love how you kind of recapped without really meaning too when you described all of what had happened between Draco and Hermione in the past week. it made me realize their relationship has developed a little further than i thought. despite it's slowness this story intrigues. maybe that is why it intrigues me so. usually it's bam boom badda bing in other stories but this one leaves so much to the imagination with it's slow plot.

lastly, i like how draco seemed super human in this chapter. when he threw his book down and started running his hands over his face and talking candidly with hermione i was like ahh yes finally!! it could have happened before this chapter too but this one really stuck out to me. good work! update asap. =)

I've always thought that with the aspect of social maturity that Ginny would get there before Hermione. Not saying that Ginny is a slut by any means, just that she would be ready to cross that line before Hermione was and I like that she was forward thinking. Better to have known love once than never to have known it at all. And she does have the advantage of knowing that Harry is not a player. He would treat that time as a serious moment in their relationship. He's safe. Whereas Draco, well you just wouldn't know which way he'd go and in some ways, that makes it all the more exciting. Damn those bad boys!! Why do we lust them so much? LOL I do love the moment he and Hermione are sharing in regards to going home. I wonder if he'll ask her to go to Malfoy Manor with him????? ;) :) Loved it and look forward to more...........

By all means, you are most welcome to my mantra (not sure it works though). LOL And of course it's easy to have a crush on such a character. We can take them out, do with they as we wish and when we've had enough, put them back in the box until next time. Can't do that in reality, can we? LOL Although yes, the real lifers have their moments too. *grins* And yeah, I think that Draco would be too high maintenance for me too. Normally I'd pick Blaise as my second choice but he's a bad boy in the worst way here so I guess I'll have to stick with the high flyer. LOL

You are a very talented writer, and I'm really enjoying this story. I'm even enjoying the slow build-up. It makes sense with the way you've written Draco and Hermione. Keep updating quickly. I can't wait to see how the story progresses!

i love this story!! but i must admit after the last two chapters i'm wondering where it's going and if it is in fact going anywhere at all. maybe i'm just missing something. maybe this is a super slow developing story. i dont know but obviously i'm missing something....

Hope you keep up with the updates. I have to agree with SoftObsidian that the build up is just great. The massive change in Draco's life causing him to look at things different, very realistic. Hope to read more!

SQUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEE You've updated. :) Love that Draco's turned inwards to heal his hurts and that he wants to improve himself, finally he's looking at the future with open eyes. And what a sweet gesture to get all those mugs and glasses for Hermione. I don't think he even realises he's starting to warm towards her. :) And when he does - woo hoo!! And Hermione checking him out after Quidditch practice - YUM!!!!! And her comeback to his note - Zing!! Loved it.

Well I'm pleased you don't mind my mini-rambles and I'm glad you get something out of them too. :) I am also thrilled that you reply to my reviews the way you do. Thank you!!!

I have no worries that your story will go in the direction I'm hoping for as well as having surprise twists, turns and backpedalling along the way. As for my interpretations, it just goes to show how much I am loving this story not to mention how wonderfully you are doing writing it. :)

I love your explanation for Dean Thomas. I can totally see him as a social butterfly and being a handy friend to have even if he is a half blood and not the pureblooded company that Draco would have been expected to keep. I always got the impression he was easy going and well liked too. I wouldn't mind throwing down with Draco either but that's another story. (sigh - I need my mantra) I must not fall for a fictional character. I must not fall for a fictional character. LOL Nor be envious of one either. ;)

What I am jealous of, on two counts, is you!! One for the fact that you paint/are an artist and I can't paint to save myself and two that you have a hubby who's passing out such romantic gestures and I'm not all that romantic a girl myself. LOL

    I can't wait for more. :)

Ilke, I'm gonna be honest with you. I haven't been reading this story for a reason. It's really really too close to my ideal build up for a Draco/Hermione story, and I feel inadequate when I read it. THIS is real Draco/Hermione at it's finest. The only other story I think that it compares to in terms of realism is Contrast. I'm so so impressed with it that it's really distracting to read while I'm trying to write my own D/Hr stuff. This is the kind of story telling that makes me want to stop writing. lol. NO SHIT! The sleep kiss was too fucking hot to describe..and yeah, I'm gonna the borrow the sleeping/napping kiss from you to use in my story, of course not in the same way. I'm putting this on my Recommended Reading list and on my LJ. And I promise to be a better reviewer from now on....I need to push away my D/Hr inferiority complex and just suck it up. lol. OK, going over to GE to give you some love there too : )
