Forgive me for gushing, but this story is totally awsome!! I love how you kept everyone, and I mean everyone in character for such an inventive plotline. Severus' devious plan was sooooo him. And in later chapters with a righteously furious Hermione throwing her temper around and impressing sundry others was hilarious. Nice to remind Snape just why he chose 'the gift of a child' as repayment for the life debt. *shakes head* A life for a life just took on new meaning.

Nicely done and I can't wait for more.

A wonderful chapter. I am glad that Hermione and Severus are protecting Eileen. I can't wait to read the next chapter to see what happens.

Hi Emma: It's supposed to be Pettibone. I corrected it last night (you can see a previous post thanking Sandra for pointing the error out) but I must not have pressed the edit button. It was a mistake. Thank you for pointing it out or I would have thought I corrected it. ***

is his name Pettigrew or Pettibone?
u start saying pettibone, then minvera says pettigrew (which i assumed was done to annoy him)
    but then
"Startled, everyone turned to look at the door and saw Hermione standing there, pointing at John Pettigrew with one finger as she snatched her Weasley hat off her head."

CuteDATSexie218: Oh girlfriend, it happens all the time, under the guise that it's "not official" then the info ends up in the legal arena. No minor should ever be questioned without parental consent, but it happens all the time. And not just to minors, but to ordinary people who find themselves in trouble with the law. Gotta know your rights. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Sorry for not reviewing before. I love this; you've brought up some very interesting points about everything from gossip to genetic engineering. If Lucius was afraid of Hermione's temper, can you imagine how he'll react when she and Snape team up to protect Eileen? Heads, wands and arses are going to be rolling in every direction!

You do realise that at the last bit of the last chapter, Mr. Pettibone become Mr. Pettigrew, right? I don't know if that was a mis-type so i thought i'd let you know. Other than that, I love this story and can't wait to read more.

I had 3 little Hugo's growing up and they are impossible to resist. They way she describes the nifflers do make them seem a bit scary.
