    (Chapter 10)

Oooh....I love it when a man calls a woman "darling".....and I can just picture Lucius purring that out....*shivers*

Yay! for Lucius and Padma finally giving in to their desire for one another. I liked it that he took them to the table instead of the bed. I love Dibby and his machinations in getting Lucius and Padma to do more and more "wizardy bonding". I found myself wishing he'd cast that fertility spell....I would so love to read how you would write Lucius as a nre father again at his age. I loved Lucius' touch of annoyance at thinking Padma doesn't consider him marrying material. Will he be determined to change her mind? I'm glad Lucius is taking steps to stem his alcoholic tendencies before they get out of hand. I love that you gave him this human touch. I just love the whole damn story, including that things are looking brighter for Tomas and Seamus. Yay! Can't wait for the next update, and to see what other little tricks Dibby gets up to!

    Chapter 9

As usual, well done. Are we getting hints that Seamus might not be so utterly straight, then?
I do like the emotional bridges Hermione & Lucius are building, but come on, throw us a bone, will you?! Lucius needs a bit of horizontal tango time.....

Anyways, going back to your question about whether a woman with your colouring could wear some of what you saw on the SeasonsIndia website, I don't see why not if you choose colours that play up your colouring positively. As to style/cut, that again depends on your figure & your confidence.

Hmm....not quite sure why the last half of my above review ended up all in italics. Were't we just talking about html code?? LOL!

    (Chapter 9)

First off.....arrrrgghhh! Are Lucius and Padma ever going to get up to the "wizardy bonding"??? Maybe Dibby should consider those last resorts again!

Having said that, I'll now say that this was another excellent chapter. I liked how you went back and forth between Lucius and Padma, and Tomas,,,and yay! Seamus to the rescue! I still have no idea as to who attacked him, although I see that you've left clues. I could re-read and make a guess, but I'm liking the suspense and will wait for the story to unfold in regards to the attacker. Now that Seamus is there, and by the way he was holding Tomas' hand, hopefully something will blossom for them.

Poor Lucius. Still battling his inner demons. It was an interesting little bit you threw in there in regards to Narcissa, how she'd receiving a couple of canings from Abraxas as well, and I admit I am curious to know why he caned her, as well as a bit enraged at the audacity of the man. I'm assuming this took place after Lucius and Narcissa were married? And that he thought he had the right because she married "out" of the Black family and "in" to the Malfoy family? You also made mention of Narcissa bearing the scras of her own family and it's pureblood traditions.....her own father caned her as well? Or worse? You've got me dying of curiosity for that backstory now as well!

I hope that Lucius will give in to his urge to unburden himself to Padma and talk to her about his past. Not only will it be a catharsis from him, but he cannot hope it build a healthy relationship with her unless he does. There was another intriguing bit in there too, in regards to that; Abraxas and the other Malfoy's are dead, there is only Lucius and Draco (I assume) left, what possible harm can come from the Malfoy line if Lucius should confide in Padma? Is the line cursed? In a way Draco knows nothing about, since I would assume he confessed all upon joining the Church?

Very much looking forward to the next update!

Chapter 8: First, thank you for alerting me to your new chapter. It was odd, but I got four updates and a chapter to beta all at the same time, so I am running a bit behind.

My vision of Lucius was just an outline, not at all meant to refer to any particular part of your story. You know that, right? I like your Lucius very well, indeed! (And I hope I

Thanks for updating (ch. 8) Miss Patil. Your cast of characters continue to be judiciously and thoughtfully fleshed out. It seems remarkable to me that Tomas would have ignored so many danger signs, however. I, therefore look forward to his next meeting with Seamus and more information about his attacker (magical?/muggle?). I'm sure you have some very interesting stuff up your sleeve in this regard. As for the way Lucius' & Padma's relationship seems to be progressing, it's nice to see them working together without sexual action at every turn. Lucius is more than his sex appeal, but his sex appeal is more than most.

I'm glad to read more of this WHENEVER you update.

Btw, I ended up marrying neither of those clowns. My DH is altogether awesome.

    (Chapter 8)

Before anyone says anything to the contrary, I just want to say that I find Lucius Malfoy with a secret desire for Muggle music, particularly the music you chose, to be perfectly believable. Despite being a pureblood wizard from a long, long line of pureblood wizards, I don't believe for a second that he'd be totally ignorant of the Muggle world. Also, it's perfectly believable that it would be Severus who provided the gateway, so to speak, being a half blood. I'm sure music was probably one of Severus' few solaces during holidays when he had to leave Hogwarts and return to the horror of his home life, and something he would share with Lucius, who's home life was just as horrible. It's so beautifully touching that Lucius misses Severus so much. They've been through so much together, all the horror of Voldemort and the war. It's just very sad and beautiful that he misses his friend. I like that touch very much.

I like that you're delving deeper into Tomas' story too, and I was shocked at what happened to him at the end of this chapter. Who would do this, and will it be Seamus to the rescue? Is Seamus even gay? If he is, will he and Tomas get together as Tomas so fervently wishes? Does Goran have anything to do with anything, or is he just Tomas' friend?

Update soon! I love this story, everything about it, and I can't wait for more!

    Hi again,
I just wanted to let you know how happy I am that you've updated this story. I like this pairing more and more. Lucius is sexy without being scary which only makes him a better match for Padma. I think the pacing of the romance is also emotionally true as well. The morning after misunderstanding is also quite believable.

I would love to get a better peak into Padma's mind, however. As she's being introduced to various bachelors, it would be really fun to see how they fail to stack up against Lucius in her mind--whether they are petty or significant differences. I remember rejecting one guy because he never blinked when he stared in my direction. It really creeped me out. Another was rejected because when I expressed interest in his motives for getting both an MD & a PhD, he said it was because he "fell" into it. Like it was a pit or something.

I look forward to more.....soon, please!

    (Chapter 7)

I honestly didn't think Padma would leave back to her own room, and really, that's quite nice. Having been together once, no matter how awkward the morning after, it would have been too easy for them to fall back into bed, especially after Lucius' confession.

I like the emerging sub-story with Tomas. So, he's got a crush on Seamus Finnegan. Interesting. Poor Tomas, he had my sypmpathies when he became so disillusioned he ended up spending the day in bed scarfing chocolates. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this, if Seamus even notices Tomas, if anything comes of Tomas' crush. And, of course, Padma and Lucius. I'm looking forward to seeing what Lucius has to say to Dibby and, indeed, what Dibby has to say back! And I can't wait to see if Padma takes Lucius up on his invitation. Oh Padma! Please say yes! I'm on Dibby's side.....Master and Mona Lisa really need to start seeing to those little masters and misses.....to keep Dibby happy of course!

    Update soon please!

    (Chapter 6)

I love the displaced Lucius, so confused over modern dating etiquette, unsure of himself, his critical look at himself in the mirror. I love Padma, a character I'd never given a thought to before, and how you've made her come alive. I love Dibby, taking it upon himself to get these two together. I agree with him, Lucius and Padma must do more 'wizardy bonding" and make Dibby lots of little masters and mistresses! Go Dibby! This story is so charming, and I like the light-heartedness...it's a nice break from the drama and angst of your other stories, even though I love them too. Honestly, Tambra, I think you could write a grocery list and I'd devour it just to be able to read something you wrote. Please update soon!! I need to see Lucius make Panjit scurry off so he can win Padma over!
