Reviews for Daddy Dearest II

Jamie: That's kind of the fun of writing this story, the feelings it ilicits. This is Bastard!Snape at his finest, although a driven by love Snape. An erroneous, manipulative Snape. It's a nice change from a writing standpoint actually, trying to show all sides and making sense of it in some fashion. It doesn't make perfect sense, but nothing in life does. What I'm enjoying the most is how different this Snape is in regards to his daughter than he was in regards to his son, Mathias in the original Daddy Dearest. Sexism at it's finest I guess, even though he believes it's more than that. What will happen is pretty much up in the air, and . . . lol . . . that's also fun. Hope you'll hang around anyway. Things are bound to get . . . interesting. ***

Goodness I am a sap, I talk big but I'm a pushover. That last chapter almost had me forgiving the meddling git... almost. It's all a matter of perspective. If I'm looking at his plotting from Jaden and Hermione's side, hell hath no fury, but if I'm looking at it through his misguided view... it almost seems reasonable.

Bah! I'm not going to waste any more thought deciding how much I dislike him, he's wilfully blind, and WHATEVER happens, it's his own damn fault.

I genuinely want Hermione to cast a repelling charm on herself though, as was mentioned previously by another reviewer. Show him the similarity in the situation... stupid men manipulating women for sex. If he keeps this up, Jaden

Nice part about the lovestory of Snape and Hermione and the happy escape from Ron Weasley and his old fashioned meanings.
Hermione and Snape seem to have a lot in common. They are equals.
I'm excited about whats coming up.
    Thanks for your busy writing.
    I'm enjoying it very much.

Oh what a manipulative Slytherin he is.
But I can't help, I love him. Thats him. He loves his women but he also has to direct them.
Looking forward to the next chapter, very much.
Love your story, love your stories!!!!!

Elle: lol. I knew him getting away with that would piss somebody off. Probably a lot of somebodies. Of course, you're right . . . but . . . that's the way the story is going. In the real world, people get away with murder. There is no justice, no payback, no nothing. Snape has very dark, manipulative tendencies, and I usually soften them up by making him "noble." It gets a bit tiresome sometimes. I guess my intention came through clear as a bell, based on your passionate response. Thanks for commenting.

Bah! I swear, Miss Figg... sometimes you truly make me loathe Severus by keeping him in character. To sit there so... so innocently... playing off his wife's compassion and his daughters trust... taking advantage of their better nature in such a devious way it's so... so... SLYTHERIN!

I may not be a beacon of virtue, but at least I know when my Machiavellian tendencies are uncalled for

Hermione should have been sneakier and put the repealing charm on herself and let Severus find out the hard way how the boy felt. Nothing works better sometimes than a dose of your own medicine. LOL Great story. My Daddy could sympathize as he had five daughters and no sons (or magic)to help him.
