Ugh. I was so mad at Draco for trying to forbid Harry to stay in the manor... even if I had a feeling that it would be the right choice (but of course, where's the fun in that?)

It's interesting to see some things change, but I love how you still keep that touch of arrogance he must have. Draco feels as though he has the right to order Harry around (well, via house elf) and I'm glad you kept that part of him, because it's something that needs to be addressed for a relationship to work between the two.

Excellent job as always. I'm so glad that you've finally put the unknown enemies factor back on the front burner instead of the back one (although I know that ti was neccisary in order to advance Harry and Draco's relationship, good show by the way). Thanks so much for updating, and please don't hesitate to do so when you have some free time on your hands

Harry is back. I absolutely loved how he went through all the wards at Malfoy Manor, when he finally stood up for himself. I'm curious if Draco learned anything, or if he'll just say, "I told you that you would be attacked".

I have to appreciate that Harry went to St. Mungo's anyway; he wouldn't be Harry if he wasn't putting everyone else first. I LOVE the dynamics and sheer depth of what it means to be a Malfoy, regardless of how one comes to be part of the family.

Healer Emptyweed's motives are going to really come out (hopefully next chapter?) soon; he's reminding me of Snape at this point--there seems to be a strong potential that he was in fact giving Harry such a hard time to protect him. I think you've made that pretty clear, though it's also possible that Emptyweed does truly feel some measure of dislike for Harry, which could also be motivating his actions.

My thoughts are all out of order, my apologies for that. Being who he is, I can understand that Harry thinks he may not be able to go back to the Malfoy's.. however, I kind of want to slap him on the head. Malfoys are all about family, something they are very clear about. Just because Harry went against Draco's expressed wishes (and was, of course, typical Harry) doesn't mean they're going to abandon him. Be exasperated and angry? Yes, Draco is likely to be, but I've gotten the impression that once a Malfoy, always a Malfoy. I hope Harry comes to realize this soon.

As far as the mysterious attackers go, I am so curious! And, unfortunately, going on a ten day mostly internetless vacation on Friday. I'm hoping beyond hope that you update one more time before then, but if not I'm sure I'll have plenty of BBU to come back to. :D Still, looking forward to the next installment!

    (Chapter 13)

Somehow I wasn't surprised at the argument between Harry and Draco, despite wanting them to be together. A gilded cage never works for happiness. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if the Malfoys do let him back, although I suppose they'll be angry with him. I wouldn't be surprised either to see Draco come to the rescue.

Emptyweed was protecting Harry. Interesting, but if he knew who "they" are, why didn't he just tell him?

    Looking forward to the update!
